Announcing Raidchat BETA 2.0 Mass Test Promotion NOW CLOSED

The RAIDCHAT.COM BETA 2.0 promotion is now under way! For a limited time only, users will receive 100 million ISK for every 3 EVE Online Characters they add to their Raidchat accounts. NOTE, users do not need to purchase anything in order to receive the promotional ISK!!!!! This event is ran in conjunction with EVE Online's number one 3rd party authority, Chribba, and will run until the first 7500 characters are added to the website.

Raidchat.com is a social networking platform exclusively for video gamers and the EvE Online community. It operates much in the same way as Facebook or Google plus with unique pages for all eve online characters that sign up and persistent user created groups. Each player has private access to pages dedicated to their corporation or alliance and CEO's can manage users, create custom boards for special users and upload files for all of their members to have access to. In addition to instant live notification, users also have access to our instant messaging system which will be connected to jabber in the upcoming months.

Confirming that I've been in talks with YourSherpa and that I am currently holding part of their promotional ISK payouts to ensure pilots get paid.

I will also have access to their API to confirm payments.

Just wanted to add that the payouts will be done at the end of each week until we hit the 7500 mark. You can still add new characters(and get paid for every 3 new characters) after you have been paid up until that 7500 mark is hit . Note that adding and removing the same three characters over and over will not increase our tally on what to pay you.

Correct. You can add all 9 characters to your one raidchat account which would in turn would mean your default character would get payed 300 million isk.

Thanks for the feed back. Right now in the character sheet db it only has 3 characters listed for your raidchat account. Can you send me a screenshot so i can see if we screwed up something.

I am apparently not allowed to send you an Eve-Mail. You are either blocking mail or Eve is broken.

That first one certainly isn't mine.

This is in Firefox. Admittedly, I cannot do anything with this Character - the whole interface appears to be non-functional, no matter what I click on except "Login with Eve".

I then started up Internet Exploder, logged in, and all the Characters I just added were gone, and so was that "Dragorin" guy. In Firefox, the Interface does appear to work, though. I can make a different Character default, change settings and so on. So, I assume this was just a quirk, but you may still want to take a look at this.

Edit: Next thing is, that the corps for my characters are messed up. There are two displaying a corp that they aren't even a member of, and never have been.

Thanks for pointing that out. I think it might have been a weird caching problem with IE, but we will take a look at the db and php requests and make sure it doesn't pop up again. That is one of my alts apparently lol. And you can't send mail when the game is offline. Thankyou again for helping out with the beta.

The game is online, though. I tried sending it from inside the game when Eve Gate didn't work. Maybe the mail system wasn't running properly yet. :)

Anyway, please note my edit.

Which characters have the wrong corp name? ill check the id's and see if your pull is messing up info from crest

Rennbootlenker Waldemar for example displays as a Member of VEB Kombinat Mondgruetze Mansfeld, when in fact he's in Rens Nursing Home. https://gate.eveonline.com/Profile/Rennbootlenker%20Waldemar

I do not think the API pull or the database entries are wrong. Firefox displays it correctly now, Internet Exploder 11 does not (I know, IE 11 ... ) disregard, got confused myself

Welp lol.

Were fixing the first problem(people could access the SSOCharadd page while being logged out and add chars which gave the owner ID of 0, effectively putting it on everyone's account. and we are fixing that access now. The corp id problem seems to be a problem with our crest info pull and ill fix that now.
