about 5 mins ago I was testing out my shields on an Iteron 5, I flew out in my navy caracal in this account and boom!! blew it to pieces.

i was neck deep in a bottle of wine the other night and tried to gank a rookie ship and failed spectacularly
(yeah i know, i suck at this game)

being drunk though i forgot i needed to get her pod out ,
o7 hg slave set.

edit: this was on an alt now.

Somehow I thought that by just glancing at a newspaper crossword would be ok while bouncing around safespots in a pod with a GCC...I was wrong

the worst part is I hadn't insured it, fully fitted it with rigs and I forgot I had 2 assault frigs in the hold woops

Once when I was drunk and TEST was staging for the Delve war, there was a guy stationgaming in our station (NPC null) and I tried to instalock + blap him with a torps bomber.

Unfortunately, I locked the station on accident. I had preheated launchers... Let's just say that's the day that I learned NPC stations shoot back.

Buying a Ferox in lowsec, then trying to get it past a bottle neck system into highsec. I had fitted the ship with stuff from the station, that didn't really have much for me to buy Shocked Less then 10mins later it was a wreck. Ferox , went to space heaven.


I had a couple of lucky escapes when falling asleep, while doing level 4 security missions:

Thankfully my Gila can complete missions while i'm afk.
My Rokh, i think i got lucky. I had fallen asleep & it was down to Hull, when i finally woke up.

I had forgotten i was playing EVE online & left my Tengu, in space. I was watching the latest Episode of the "Walking Dead". Thankfully she was ok. Other occasions when family come round or the phone rings... i end up going afk. Shocked

Apart from that, i've been rather lucky.





EVEBoard ...Just over 60million skill points, each skill was chosen for a reason. I closed my eyes & clicked another skill to train... "BINGO...!!!" ... "This time i got something usefull"

About three years ago, on my original account, I resubbed after a few months out. Jumped straight into my Maelstrom and took the first L4 I could find (missions heh...). It was Damsel in Distress, I'd cleared the room and everything was going swell. "Just the pleasure hub left" I thought to myself, and promptly left my artillery chipping away at its HP whilst I went for a number two.

15 minutes later I return (with a cup of tea also) to find my wreck and a little green egg sat helplessly in space.

Had an alt moving my stuff in an Orca and thought nothing of webbing it with this toon to get it into warp faster.

After all, they're both me right? The toons are in different corps however. Sudden bout of temporary insanity occurred.

I was in a Legion. We were in High Sec.

Concord doesn't care if both toons are you. Oops

Fitted a curse with defender missiles and a TD and flew directly into 5 tengus convinced I would win ....

I have also flown a ungankable ship to then be ganked in 10mins later as I just sat there in complete shock as I was literally torn to pieces in seconds

While mistakes yes I do not regret any because they have Been many lessons learnt and many lols shared .

I accidentally warped my pod off to a moon 70AU away on the other side of the system to the gate I needed to take to get out. Didn't notice that Santo Trafficante was in system when warping back to the gate.

I was bored so I decided to try to hunt MTUs in a newly fit Vexor Navy Issue. I successfully located my first one, but it seemed I was in wormhole space too long, because CONCORD didn't like it when I subconsciously shot at the wreck...in high sec. That was my biggest loss ever, and I didn't lose it to a player.

I took a week off after that loss...

Silly silly mortals. Let me tell you how a TRUE playa does it.

Step 1: Log in to EVE when the wife and kids are out of town and you are on vacation from your job.

Step 2: Drink and stay up well into the night

Step 4 : log on character in Amarr with a JUMP FRIEGHTER with 2 bil worth of stuff in it.

Step 4.5 :forget that your alliance is WAR DEC'd

Step 5: Take off for Jita, get sleepy half way there and decide to take a little nap, oh and hey autopilot.

Step 6: And this is the important one. Wake up just in time to watch your warp scrammed 7 billion isk Jump Freighter die after what must have been a long chewing at the hands of just 3 cruiser sized enemy ships.

Passed out drunk while my nyx was orbiting a gate cloaked at 15km in low sec. What?What?

GM Guard > I must ask you not to use the petition option like this again but i personally would finish the chicken sandwich first so it won´t go to waste. The spaghetti will keep and you can use it the next time you get hungry. Best regards.

I have a -8 standing with the Gallente and decided I wanted to try the SOE arc missions. It starts in Gallente space. I didn't think about it, wasn't paying attention and lost my Navy Cruiser.

After that I put all of the Gallente and Minmatar systems on my avoid list...

It sounds plausible enough tonight, but wait until tomorrow. Wait for the common sense of the morning.
