So I stopped playing about 2 years ago and when I did you used to be able to set permissions to allow corp members to see a hanger with BPO's in it and they could then research but not remove them.

Now it seems that I have to put the BPO's in the POS (I have no issue with this) but in order for my corp mates to be able to research the BPO's I have to give them full access to them? which allows them to remove them from the labs.

Am I doing this wrong or is there a way to circumvent this?

hey weaock,

normally you need only to give them the rights to see the BPO`s , they dont need the "take" role for starting research and production jobs.

besides that they also need the permissions to start research jobs for your corporation " Research/Production Manager "

Thanks man it was a big help,

I suppose there is not way to set it so that anyone can not just cancel someone else's job right?

The only people that can cancel a job in a corp asset is the person that started it, directors, and CEOs of the owning corp.

Anyone with Factory Manager role can deliver any job. Patch Notes: "As of Odyssey 1.0, only Directors and the member that installed a job are able to cancel it."
