I do understand that, but my question is more like why CCP is adding useless information that fundamentally are discouraging players that could be willing to stream?

When the system's name appears on the right click or on the radial menu, I, as a player do not really care. I already know which system I am in. Knowing the planet number/moon/bookmark I am warping to is what I need on those interactions.

Running a loc agent, recognizing a nebula are all valid ways in-game to try to identify my location, and I do agree that they will find me anyway, but what does CCP gains by making it as easy as reading from a screen being broadcasted?

You do know you can delay a stream for that sake too

Yes, I do. But like it has been mentioned, this reduces the capability to interact with viewers.
I also wonder if it adds some extra load on the computer (I am not tech savvy enough to really know how this delays works)
Last, it shifts the focus on the other tools instead of the game itself.

Then it really depends, what are you streaming?

As interaction with stream viewers mean you dont need full attention. Which also means you are more likely in safer areas of the game

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

I suspect people watching EVE streams are looking only to the moment when streamer will become warp scrambled and shout "Oh ****!!!." Fallowed by "****, ****, ************, YOU SAW ME THRU STREAM, DONT YOU?"

If I was you (and I do steam myself from time to time). Just don't worry about it. Hiding all the things is a waste of time. If folks want to find you they will. And on a side note. The more you try to hide your self. the more players WILL come at you as they see it as a challenge to find and pop you. If you go watch streams like Zao or Shard Cade or Fintarue. You will see they hide nothing and it is not an issue for them. But then again, they are smart PvP players. sure they get popped too. But they don't care. They know it is going to happen,. So they invite you to come at them. More content = more folks watching them. Long story short. Hiding is not the way to go

Streams are only good when they involve drunk people or angry people. Preferably people who are both. Does CCP have any plans on increasing the numbers of angry drunk people raging over voice coms?
