I was tossed straight into the fights between SA and SE when i first started this game. I was here and witnessed the GNW, the rise and fall of BOB. I remember when Goons took their first baby steps in syndicate.
Ive seen most ships buffed, nerfed, buffed again and then some.
Most of my eve life have been split between 0,0 and low sec, tho at heart I have always considerd myself a pirate, and that will hopefully never change.

11 Years of playing and Ive had plenty of friends come and go, lots of them are ppl ive met and had fun with in rl. Always sad to see friends leave this game, but new friends have been made in the process.
0,0 might be in a sad state these days, but low sec is doing better then ever so i cant complain to much about that either.
So basicly all i wanted to say is thank you CCP for still making this a game i care about, and tho we might not always agree on things, i do have faith that you always have the best of the game in mind.
So, hopefully ill be able to make another of these posts in 11 years time as well Blink

(oh and btw, give freighters the cpu to fit a dc Blink )

GM Guard > I must ask you not to use the petition option like this again but i personally would finish the chicken sandwich first so it won´t go to waste. The spaghetti will keep and you can use it the next time you get hungry. Best regards.

My first chars were created in '04 and man, do I miss those days.

Pirates were... real pirates. They'd make you sing a song, answer riddles, or pay a ransom. Now, you just get shot.
Beam fitted caracal was SUPREME
Torp fit on frigates
Frigates could fit dual MWDs and do 90km/s+

ahhhh the good old days. When you could form an alliance and actually go out and conquer some null......

I miss the old Pod Or post, those were awesome until CCP made a rule about not being allowed to post on the forums about it. So that kinda ruined it.

I didn't start my first char until sometime in 2009, but I keep hearing about these adventures and tales... It really makes one sad because nowadays seem nowhere as awesome.

Tho its true that the wars like the GNW, or war against curse alliance etc will not happen again, its not to late to take part in changing the coming history of this game.

New history in this game is written every day, so its up to all of us to make sure the storys we can tell are the fun ones.
Just look at how low sec is these days, its so filled with action, with fights happening every day, tho most of them wont be written about in the future just because many ppl dont care about low sec.

I see there is something brewing. In low and Null. People are killing themselves. Imperium's have been rekt few times recently, nothing really spectacular... but if more will try to hop on the rekking bandwagon...
Things can be scary for Imperium.

Im not as old as some of you. Going on 8 myself. I miss some of old eve. I remember some of my first pvp experiences were alpha-ing people at gates in provi in cruise fitted manticores. I still have a cruise fitted manticore actually. Its a museum piece now. When people took space because they were going to use it not just for LOLs. When most of eve wasnt renters. When an alliance didnt blue everyone and their brother.

There have been many changes since then. I like most of the changes made by CCP. I dont like many of the changes made by players to the universe. Its like players purposely try to ruin the game...with their egos. Overall i would say the game is better now than it was when i started and that is why i am still here.

Sometimes you are the squirrel and sometimes you are the nut. Today, you are the nut and the squirrel is hungry.

The camaraderie and unplanned reunions with old friends in game are what keeps some of us around. These epic moments happen only every couple of years but you never forget it.

My main toons have been here since 08'. I hear some call me an old timer, but I still look up to you guys.

Cheers to the old days! May we make them anew, and raid again.

Used to play this old korean MMO, Nexon owns it now (Dekaron) but the reunion with some people after all these years would be worth it, just for that. Theres some dude I recognized being complained about on the forums.

There was another guy called "dikbig" I would always call "diksmall" and he lol'd every time.

If only I could meet up with the noobs I played with in EVE when I was a noob. Sharing your sides of stories is the best thing ever.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

Coming up on 12 years.

Though my level of activity in game waxes and wanes over the years, it's good to know CCP keeps it alive for me to come back to, again and again.

I've tried to convey this game to people over the years that haven't played it. All I can tell them is "there is no other game like it" and "if you're willing to invest the time to learn and see what it has to offer, you'll be absolutely amazed"

Also into my eleventh year here...

My first memory of EVE is training like mad for a Raven then promptly losing it in my first Level 4 Mission because my fitting was pure poop. Was my first rage quit. Lol

I learned a lot since then...Bear
