Gutter Press has received information about a corruption scandal at Tribal Liberation Force headquarters, involving several officers, including at least one Valklear General !

Outrageous !

The scandal involves the unissued YC117 warzone victory medals, which were to have been issued to the TLF capsuleer pilots, had a full sweep of the warzone been accomplished.

A surprise audit by the Inspector General's office, found that the warehouses where the medals were supposed to be stored, were completely empty. Subsequent inspections found that the YC112, YC114, and YC 115 medals were also missing.

Thievery !

Audit records revealed that several mid-ranking officers had authorised the removal of the medals from the warehouses. Several of the involved confessed during questioning, and named senior officers, including the Valklear General.

Confessions !

The shocking truth, was that the unissued medals had been stolen, and used to construct several unauthorised Fleet Issue ships, including Typhoon Fleet Issues, which were then sold on the black market !

Embezzling !

The beneficiaries of this embezzlement were said to have made vast sums of currency, with some of it being spent on luxury goods and services for the involved persons !

Gutter Press interviewed several persons, for their opinions on this shocking scandal:

"They sold the medals to make blackmarket ships ? That's sneaky !", said one Sebiestor TLF pilot.
"I wondered where those guys got so much money from", said a Sebiestor exotic dancer.
"I bet this has something to do with the Cartel. Sounds like one of their schemes. Selling their people for profit, it's exactly the same!", said a Sebiestor goat trader.

"Ahah, ahahaha, ahahahahahahaaaahahahahaaahahaa. ", said a former Sebiestor pilot in the Amarr militia.

Continue the fine traditions of the Gutter Press. The more you know...

I kind of want to see someone bring a warship on the field mostly constructed from medal components. I suspect the disastrous disintegration would be hilarious.

It says something about New Eden that I often tend to wish these Gutter Press "news articles" were true.

Well.....they must have been very big medals, my Righteous Cross isn't nearly big enough to build even a Punisher out of even with all 3K or so of them that were issued.....Maybe the TLF was sparing no expense with the medal?

One medal can't build a punisher. One trillion on the other hand...

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Ironically the pursuit of one has seen thousands sold.

You. I like your wit.

I'm not a journalist but I'll bet these young women get to discover quite a lot of information from the great and the 'good'. Probably the young men, too.

I will let the press know that the medals were traded for slaves. Those individuals that missed their medals can have one of mine.
