Unable to repair modules

I must be missing something here. I've got modules without a quantity number. When I right click, one of the options is "Get a repair quote". I click Repairshop, which . of course, only repairs modules fitted to ships.

Okay, so I fit them to ships, and I get the "There is nothing to repair". I unfit the modules, again no little quantity box, and are unsaleable.

Do modules get irreparable damage but are still usable? Any help would be appreciated.

No damage is irreparable. Even burnt out modules can be fixed, so...there mustn't be any damage, if it says 'Nothing to repair', in that case.

Perfection is a dish best served like wasabi .

The exception is damage crystals. Not modules per se, but you can't repair them once damaged.

You need to right click and "Repackage" those modules to get the little quantity box back and make it market-friendly.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

I should also note, you should be able to right click a damaged module in inventory and select repair. You don't have to fit them to repair them.

Thanks all for the info. I'll give it a try!
