How to turn off dirt/grime?

I don't like the look of the dirt on my ships. Is there a way to turn this off so my ships stay nice and shiny? I *think* repackaging works but I don't want to lose my rigs.

If you click the arrows in the middle left of the fitting window it opens the skins sub menu, on the menu there is a button to clean your ship.

Alternatively, welp it before it gets dirty. Cool

Is there a know bug with dirt/rust not actually showing up, because all of my ships are still clean as a whistle and I've never used the "clean" button or packed them?

it is a very subtle process. I have run aprox. 20 level 4 missions in my Marauder and it is just recently started showing up.

Well, I don't see it on any of my ships, new, used, old, Minmatar, or otherwise. Got a funny feeling this is too subtle for my eyes, like I'm never going to be able to tell until I hit "clean". I've ran about that much, if not more, and it's no different on my screen, though unfortunately not due to error. I had hoped at least current ships would show something, but my 3 year old Golem still looks just like it did when I bought her, no different than the Stratios I picked up a couple weeks ago. Maybe the Stratios will show better after a while due to it's default brighter SKIN than the Golem's SKIN's.
