Hey Guys,

I have been playing Eve on and off since 2011 and been moving along at my own pace enjoying mainly PVE content, mostly exploration. As such I would still be considered a pretty much a newbie by most players standards and understand that I still have a long and steep learning curve ahead of me, particularly where PVP is concerned. However if previous mmorpg experience has taught me anything. It’s that there is no better place to learn a game than from other more experienced players. With that in mind I think it’s about time I joined my first corp (the corp I am in at the moment only consists of myself and my alts).

A little about me:
I am 39 years old, British but based in Switzerland. I speak English and German fluently and can be found online most days sometime between approx. 1900-0100 (GMT). I have 2 small kids so I would only be interested in Corporations which understand and respect that sometimes it’s necessary for real life to come first. That said when I commit to an in-game activity I (short of the kids setting the sofa on fire) see it through to the end.

What can I bring to a corporation:
While I’m afraid I won’t arrive with an endless supply of free PLEX’s to hand-out I would like to think my reliability, good attitude, a healthy sense of humour, willingness learn and help Corp mates have their own value ;-). In terms of time I can play 2-5 hours 3-4 times per week, possibly longer at the weekend. In terms of ISK I am pretty self-sufficient so am in no need of a ship replacement program or any other similar hand-outs.

My Character so far:
Server: Tranquillity
Name: Lupo Naven
Race: Minmatar
Skill points: 65 million (I can fly most sub capital ships except Command ships but would be happy to cross train anything should the need arise)

I also have a second account with a character (42mil SP) which I use mainly as a scout/scanning/logi alt. I am open to this character joining the same corp as my main but it’s by no means a must.
So far my gameplay has kept me missioning/salvaging in high-sec as well as exploration (relic/sleeper/lvl 1-6 combat sites in High, low, Null-sec & WH space.) While I have pretty much zero PVP experience I believe I am relatively capable of sneaking around all types space without meeting a pixel death all too often.

What I hope for in a corporation
- Social and good humour.
- An understanding that sometimes RL comes first.
- Playing as a group.
- "Relatively" mature
- An established but not a hardcore corp
- Preferably (though not a must) predominantly British. Not for any xenophobic reasons but simply that having grown up in the UK I believe I would find it easier to integrate and contribute positively to a corporation which speaks my native language and where I am familiar with the culture, humour etc. of its members.

What I am interested in
PVP
Fleet Operations
Incursions
Black Ops
etc.

What I am not so interested in
Mining
High-sec Mission running

What I have zero interest in
Drama :-D

So if any recruiters reading this think I might be a good fit for your corporation feel free to drop me a line, be it here or in-game and I will be more than happy to answer any further questions you may have.

Many thanks in advance & kind regards :-)

Hey there. You should check out Pormir; it's one of the fastest growing corps at the moment and we have just moved into a nice nullsec home.
We do everything, from ratting, exploration through to mining- and of course plenty of PvP to defend our patch.

Speaking from personal experience this is the most organised corp I've ever involved with. Corp logistics, buybacks and constant WH scans back to highsec market make moving and living here easy :) Though most of our members are US TZ, we're looking to expand more into EU - that being said currently at 16.30gmt there are 18 people online!
I'm british, and a couple of others are too ^_^
If you can fly a cane well you'll it into our PvP doctrines.

If nullsec life interests you join the Pormir Pub and have a chat.

Greetings, Lupo!
o7

I am a recruiter for Pormir, a corp that has helped me become way more familiar with EVE than I ever thought I would. It's a great corp to be in, and I strongly recommend you talk to us!

Pormir is seeking veterans and aspiring new players to help create a wonderful community.
We are focused on growing together as a cohesive unit, and have a clear roadmap and goal to build our corporation in 0.0space.

We have moved to Fountain (0.0) as of 1/1/2016, and are building up the Empyreus alliance.
Current Roadmap : http://i.imgur.com/k4rHu52.jpg

We are mainly seeking the following,
  • Industrialists
  • Combat Players of all Kinds (PvE / PvP)
  • Commanders & Leaders

  • We are a corporation built by veteran players who weren't too happy with what they were doing, and wanted a fresh start to create something great. If you are a new player interested in any of the roles listed above, we will teach you everything you need to know, no skill points required! We hope you join us on our journey!

Pormir offers buyback for loot, ore, and salvage. We also offer a hauling service for when you move in with us!
We have a Teamspeak server which is very active throughout the day.
No pressure on playing at any specific time, we all have things to do! We only ask that if you are playing while we need to fleet up to defend the pocket of space that you join us.

Questions? Feel free to message me in-game. -Zhadok Rustung
Join our public chat "Pormir Pub" to speak to our recruiters.

    Hey Lupo!

After reading your post i think you would be a good fit for us.
Damaged gods is a newly found Wormhole corporation with primairy focus PVP.
We have some UK members,, myself I am belgian and living in Germany, so your situation sounds very familiar :)
Most of us are in our 30s with kids so we understand that RL comes first.

We are a very new corp and still very small, i do not plan on expanding to much in the begining but am still looking for some core members.
I want to make a thight knit group of pvpers who can have fun together.

Pm me ingame or join our public channel: Damaged Gods if you are interseted!

good luck with the search for a new home!

Yamagata Syndicate [-YS-] are looking for pilots like yourself.

YS is a combat orientated corporation. We want to expand our player base and gather a solid core of combat pilots to help bolster our rightful place in Eve. YS is a member of the Yulai Federation which is a sovereignty holding alliance in the Providence region and a member of the Provibloc coalition.

YS is looking for people who will "fit in" to our corporation and form new friendships. Most of us are 30+ years, so we have a fairly relaxed and mature player base. We expect members to show respect to their fellow corporation and allied pilots, and have a general good attitude towards the eve community as a whole.

Check out our recruitment info linked below which will give you more information on our corporation and if your interested then get in contact. :-)

    Hey Guys,

Firstly many thanks for all your many swift and kind replies here as well as ingame. Unfortunately there have been far too many for me to reply to you all personally.

I am glad to say that I have managed to find a new home but would nevertheless like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who took the time and effort to contact me and to wish you the very best of luck in New Eden as well as out of it.

Once again, a big big thank you :-)

    Kind regards

    Lupo
