Character Creation

Hello, I have been unable to find any current information on new character creation. I am wanting to create a character solely for starting and running a corporation.

Are there any races and/or bloodlines that get a bonus for corporation management out of the box?

Thanks!

I have an unsubscribed CEO alt willing to sell the corporation but not the alt (sentimental values and such).

OR

Because all you need is corp. management 1 -> ask someone to create a corp for you. Only things you can't change afterwards are name and ticker. The rest can be changed with corp management 1. ... as long as you don't plan on creating an alliance, but that again can be arranged otherwise.

edit number 3 to clarify.

corp management 1 allows you to create a corp for 10 people of 1 race. But if you find somebody who has all the skills required for a multi-race corp and 1000 members, they can create such a corp (updated with their skills). Then you can run this corp with just corporation management level 1.

edit number 4:

Or you create the corp. and get someone to update the corp with the appropriate skills. Then transfer the corp back to you.

No.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

All characters start with the same skills, except for racial frigate and weapon system skills, which take very little time to train. The only other difference is which rookie ship you will forever have unlimited access to.

Exact list of skills is in the dev post:
[Vanguard] 350k added skillpoints for new characters!

There are no corporation related skills in those lists.

You need Corporation Management 1 to create a corp, or become CEO [there is one exception: the CEO leaving the corp must appoint a successor, and if nobody remaining in the corp has the skill trained, anyone remaining can be appointed]. It takes about 10 minutes to train for a 20-pilot corp. Once CEO, there is no requirement to have the skill to manage the size of the corp, only to increase that number.

You can buy and sell pre-made corps (you join corp, and they make you CEO), or hire someone to upgrade an existing corp (risky, as you have to make them CEO temporarily, but there are some trustworthy people in the business). Check the Sell Orders forum.

I don't recommend Amarr characters as cyno alts (smallest rookie-ship cargo, so need cyno skill lvl 5 rather than lvl 4), but that's about the only racial difference.

The corp mechanics were updated a while a go, you no longer need to train the skills to allow different races in a corp.

Is it worth the three - at minimum - three plex just for a ceo?

u wot m8?

It takes less than 10 minutes to train Corp Management to Level I.

1 Day to Level IV, which allows you to run an 80-member corp.

11 Days gives you all that plus Anchoring IV and Starbase Defense Management IV.

16 days total if you want Megacorp Management I, which allows you to run a 200-member corp.

That's a total of just over 700,000 SP. You wanna buy a character for that? wtf?

... and doubled because of the old Brave Newbies Inc. hitting the old limit.

So in Rubicon 1.3 we are doubling the effect of all four of the Corporation Management skills that affect corp membership limits.

* Corporation Management will provide +20 members per level.

* Megacorp Management will provide +100 members per level.

* Empire Control will provide +400 members per level.

* Sovereignty will provide +2000 members per level.

This places the new cap at 12600 members, which should last the Brave Newbies at least another week or two
