As a fellow Caldari, you should know that the surest way to suck the fun out of anything is to have an office to audit it. We don't enjoy icecream, we just audit any we encounter.

So there's still hope? Ohhhh I hope someone brings it back! Welcome back by the way. I'm sure you don't know me but let's just say I'm glad to see those who in effect inspired the newer generation of Matari capsuleers return.

To clarify: I am currently not aware of any effort in said direction. Obviously, I am terribly rusty and out of touch, so I would not necessarily know, either.

Listen, I am just one person, and even if you count all Icecream, we are currently 23.

Hope that relies on such fragile numbers was not really alive to begin with.

The Tribes are stronger than that.

The number was One. It became a handful. It became one once more. The Tribes will of course endure, but there is no place for Matari to call home in space. It's nothing particularly exciting or new, this has been the case for some time, but there's no need to pretend there's hope for something to rise from the ruins when all that does arise these days are temptations to wander off into the elsewhere.

There is no malice or condemnation in my words, just giving voice to what has been the case for too long.

I know for myself EM were my heroes when I was in the RMS, only reason I got tested for capability was partially as a joke to myself that I could measure up to them. Honestly if they didn't inspire atleast one person with their actions I would still be in Annages working on a hulk. Whether they come back or aren't is irrelevant to me. In the end they inspired atleast one person to take up the fight. They set a model for what it is to be a true Matari. Whatever their future is... Well... What they were will make them timeless, and that's what I'm greatful for...

Well, I approve the audit action, though... I would prefer to avoid parts of "sucking the fun out of anything".

Don't be too complimentary.

They certainly had their moments (I was even there for a few of them), but EM and it's members certainly weren't infallible.

There's no reason anyone else couldn't continue their work.

Your right, nobody's perfect after all. I'm certainly not, nor are you or anyone posting here for that matter. They weren't and that's why they disbanned around when I graduated. Coming up as a combat pilot to be they were definately something to strive for. The void they left still is still vacant because nobody seems to be willing to fill their shoes. It's a shame really.
