Was there any decent/useful christmas/new years gift this year?

The way I see it is:

1. They gave us an update that included a crap ton of new ships, modules and such. I didn't pay any extra than my monthly subscription. Free gift! Score! X-mas gift!

2. they gave us the addition of the Frostline sites that dropped Quafe Zero and some Serpentis shirts. They also had the chance to drop a multitude of other items from clothing to faction mods. I didn't pay any extra than my monthly subscription. Free gift! Score! X-mas gift!

3. they gave us a bunch of items that were tied to In-game happenings, just like last year. Hold on to them. Eve is a long con. You never know what one of those items will be worth 5 years from now.

I think that CCP went all out with the X-mas spirit. I've been having a great time running down the Frostline sites. They have taken me to all corners of New Eden.

I gave them a gift too. I bought a plex pack and some Aurum for skins. Merry Christmas CCP. Here's to another great year!

Yeah but.... where's my free STUFF? My free ships and drones and skillpoints that I'm entitled to? Why can't they give me MORE for Christmas? It is Christmas after all. Why am I thinking about what I should be getting rather than what I could be giving on Christmas?

I've never used the contract system, but I would imagine that the items don't just 'materialize' into your cargo hold nor are they delivered by the game (NPC "UPS"). So they would end up in your hanger at the station they were originally in.

They fit in the fleet hangar of my mastodon.

They are the best kind of present as they have a history. If you don't want they you can contract them to me.

I think they learnt their lesson in previous years when they did give out good stuff and just got 100 page threadnoughts full of juvenile entitled whining about "this crappy leopard shuttle is an insult" and "wtf are geckos I never use drones anyway what is this shiat"

As for presents, doesn't matter if they're not useful. It's the thought that counts.
