Soooo, I have been inactive for a little while :)

Long story short: I had problems, health problems. The doctors decided it was a mental condition and there was nothing wrong with me really and I was acting ... turns out I have MS. Can't really argue with a lumbar puncture and an MRI scan!

Anyway ...

I can't remember what I was going to do skill wise. I had a massive plan and now I can't even think. So I am going to post one of my API keys and maybe some generous person can remind me :)

I think I was on my way to do agent missions for research or something, can't even remember that. By the looks of it, it is going to take me a while to get clued up again. I actually remember very little of the game.

Thanks.

Decent drone skills, fighters 5, advanced drone interfacing trained a couple levels, basic jump skills started, leadership 5, capital repair systems slightly trained, advanced spaceship command... looks like you were going for a carrier. That would certainly qualify as a massive plan.

Here's my skills for comparison since I'm a (more or less) maxed Chimera and Archon pilot.

Ahhhh, you are 100% correct. I was finishing off some manufacturing skills and stuff then I was going to optimize my implants and do swathes of research that way.

So if I can remember how I was going to swing things I should be golden, thanks :)

EDIT:

Well that and find out the new features, still working out how to take the parking brake off.

Also, can you tell me how to take part in this new event?

The Frostline sites? I don't bother with them personally. Some people get really lucky, but the impression I got was that they tend to be a waste of time.

Cool, thought it was something that might be worth checking out, I can read without worrying I am missing something then :)

Make sure you take note of the changes in skills and skill requirements. For example, you now only need racial battleship III to inject the racial carrier skill. And jump drives have changed drastically - most alliances now require capital pilots to have Jump Drive Calibration 5.

Also I didn't mention this before because I really wasn't sure what to say, but I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I hope that you can get the treatment you need to mitigate the symptoms, and hopefully they'll find a cure for it sooner rather than later. On a somewhat related note, have you ever seen The West Wing?

Hi Tayonas,

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, I hope now they've identified what it is then it can be dealt with appropriately.
In regards to EvE there have been alot of changes to the landscape both in ships/modules and EvE itself.

There is a great site that links all the updates and you can read through.
http://updates.eveonline.com/

I'm not sure if putting links in to posts is permitted so if it gets removed, just search "eve online updates".

If you have solid drone skills then Gallente ships would be a good place to start looking again.
Whilst drones have been changed alot the ships themselves are still very popular for both PvE and PvP. Gallente subcaps would be a good way to start before jumping back in to carriers.

Fly safe and look foward to seeing you in space.

So, glorious QEX brother steals potatoes from hisec.

Hey There Tayonas, Welcome back!

It sucks to hear about your Health issues and the other problems you are going through. I hope for a Quick recovery, and a prompt return to Internet space ships!

I highly recommend using a website like eveboard too plug your Key into, and then link that here. Posting your API Key, while it does NOT Give ANY information on Secure Account, billing, or private information, it CAN be used too Attack you by Crafty and Nasty players. Because Of this I have snipped your API key from your Post, but this post will stay open.

Feel free to link A EVE Board Profile link in your Original Post, Just hit the edit button!

Yea, that's why I used a mask and before I go back out would be changing the key.

Thanks for the greetz and wishes though :)

BTW, there is no 'recovery' from MS, lol, it's cool though ;)

And thanks for reminding me about eveboard.

Now I am intersted again, lol ...

How do you find them? The only thing I seen on the site was that they are happening.

Thanks, I only mentioned what is wrong because I thought maybe someone I knew would drop past and I stopped playing abruptly and without any explanation.

Checked my contact list and it seems they are all inactive, in game people anyways. I actually forgot it told you about them :/ So that was a waste of a perfectly good explanation :)

Anyways, I resurrected my alt account as well. Both accounts have 3 month for me to get back into it this or ... I dunno ...

I have vague recollections of a carrier, a station, mining and null sec. So going to be reading a bit and see if I can actually remember :)

So any advice on what to train next on these two appreciated.

More like deal with the doctors that misdiagnosed me for 15 years, lol.

Well I'm sitting in a passive tanked domi with not bad weaps, a drone augmentor and a bay full of Ogre II and Hammerhead II.

Pretty sure I was doing agent missions in it for standings.

I found a couple but they aren't appearing on my overview, only by luck I seen them on the HUD.
