New corp setting up POS

Can somene please explain me in simple way why is there need for corp to be 7 days old to be able to set up a POS. Thanks

Reason is wars in hi sec. The 7 day wait prevents permanent asset dodge.

This exactly is the reason it was changed.

From the Cruis devblog when the restrictions on POS anchoring were removed:

Timed restriction to anchor Control Towers

Newly formed corporations will need to wait 7 days before being able to anchor Starbases. This is to inhibit players from immediately moving Starbase assets to another corporation if under a war declaration.
