Ship SKINS drop as loot

Not sure if this has been proposed however can it be made so that SKINS drop in pve sites as loot. Rather that be from exploration and obtained from data or relic sites or from DED is a matter I leave in your hands. I wanted to get a Rata skin for my curse today and seen the price on Jita market and almost fell out of my chair. Would be nice if we can customize our ships with the beautiful skins the art team has provided but not for almost a billion isk for a cruiser skin. That's a little ridiculous.

Players set the ISK prices, not CCP.

Skins (and other vanity items) provide a revenue source for CCP without impacting game balance. They may let 30 day skins drop to tempt people to buy the permanent ones but if you want a permanent skin for your Curse they are 1895 AUR in the New Eden store - basically $10.00 real world money - or whatever people are willing to pay on the in-game market!

Would be good if permanent player skins dropped from wrecks. Then I might actually buy and use them.

So spend a few bucks of real money, buy some Aurum, and get the skins you want that way.

Rata skins are pure vanity skins, they are correctly placed in the NES atm.
Corp skins should have an LP option with that corp as they are an in game organization.

I'm Ok with temporary skins dropping from Scanning sites and the combat anomaly's.


But over all i don't think permanent ones should drop very often if at all.
