I will post what I am using
Feel free to tell me how crappy it is

The Golem is clearly an upgrade vs the Navy Raven, but for twice the cost, and superior skill requirements.

Navy Raven has better speed, more drone bay and bandwidth, so if you compare pure paper DPS, it is a bit superior (missile damage is the same for both).

However, Golem has 2 application bonus (built-in + target painter), superior tank (at the price of being static while in bastion mode), free high slots for salvager and tractor beam, and can MJD more often.

They are both excellent mission running ships, so you're heading the right way, with the golem being superior in several ways.

Now, about your loadout, a few things:

- 3 invuls is a huge capacitor sink as well as not very efficient (stacking penalties). I recommend using only one and 2 mission specific hardeners that you can swap according to the type of NPC you will be fighting. The Pith deadspace versions of hardeners are quite cheap at the moment (if you except EM ones), so you can build a pretty strong tank without spending much.

- to enhance dps without going for expensive faction modules; you have to boost damage application, which is in this case missile explosion velocity (aka hitting better fast targets - the bigger it is, the better it is) and missile explosion radius (hitting better small targets - the smaller it is, the better it is).
You have more or less 3 ways to do that. First are the newer modules, missile guidance enhancers and computers, which, using the right script, will boost both missile explosion velocity and explosion radius.
The second is using rigs to either boost explosion velocity or radius. Since you already have a built-in radius boost, i suggest you go for explosion velocity rigs.
The third is using a target painter to limit the decrease in DPS due to the siez of your target. Once again, it might be better to use a missile guidance computer.

Now, all these modules will cause you to either limit your cap recharge or tank, since you will have to swap a rig, low slot or med slots.

Here's an example fit that will enhance your damage in missions (even if it is not reflected on the EFT DPS value)

I have put 2 random C-type hardeners, i suggest you get a set of them, or higher grade ones, depending on the npc types you are hitting.

You are not "cap stable" anymore but that's not something most people are looking for nowadays, you want faster clearing speed, so you earn more and don't have to tank for long. Your tank is also lower, but should suffice, especially because you can MJD away from a hard-hitting group and ignore most of their damage.

While you are training for a golem, feel free to head this road with your Navy Raven, which is more application, and mission-specific hardeners, while drifting away from the cap stability road.

I have not been doing lvl4 for a long time, so you can wait for inputs from people who are in this business.

Merry Xmas too !

I don't think it would apply in this case - the OP actually posted a fit rather than asking "I has a Raven, give fit?".

But it's always nice to see EVE history being trotted out! Big smile

Definitely change the 3 invul fields to 2 mission specific + 1 adaptive if you really need the adaptive. Pith C-type ftw

If you have ever disconnected then the CNR is best. I used all raven hulls and tho the tank on Golem is nice it is not needed at all in lvl 4 missions, CNR has huge tank and dps clears rooms so fast its funny. Only when you do silly things like aggro everything in hardest missions you might struggle. I bought a Golem as its only thing to train for after in thst path. 1 week later i dc in bastion (not the first time for dc but first in BAST!on mode) probably a socket close buh bye 1.5 Bil . missions dont pay enough for that.Evil
