Limitations of a trio Prophecy setup in various DED sites

I'm thinking about using wormholes to do DED sites in low and null-sec when the opportunity presents itself. For this, I'm going with a cheap and throwable Prophecy spider trio. The fitting is:

[Prophecy, PvE Spider (Command)]
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Damage Control II
Reactive Armor Hardener
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II

10MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner
Medium Micro Jump Drive
Drone Navigation Computer II
Phased Weapon Navigation Array Generation Extron

Medium Remote Armor Repairer II
Medium Remote Armor Repairer II
Medium Remote Armor Repairer II
Armored Warfare Link - Damage Control II
Large Remote Capacitor Transmitter II

Medium Remote Repair Augmentor I
Medium Egress Port Maximizer II
Medium Egress Port Maximizer II

Ogre II x3
Hammerhead II x2
Hammerhead II x3
Acolyte II x2
Acolyte II x3
Hobgoblin II x2
Hobgoblin II x3
Infiltrator II x2
Infiltrator II x3

The Drones will be switched depending on the NPCs. One with be of this version, and 2 of a version where the warfare link is switched for a 4th remote rep. With around 1k-1.2k tank and gank combined with it being a spider setup, I would guess that most of the sites are doable. My question is, how far would this trio be able to go? Most 8/10? Any particular site that would be a no-go? And, would it be better to go with a 800mm plate and or the resistance warfare link? (for the additional tank)

I think you'll be able to do most DED sites pretty easily.
You probably won't be that hard to catch, but for the price it seems irrelevant.

Also i would consider using rat specific hardeners, as it will boost your tank significantly. With that you _might_ be able to do the 10/10's with high alpha(guristas, Minmatar, blood, sansha) But that's something you'll need to test out.

You will also get into issues with cap neuting. This mean for some plexes you will need passive hardeners. I dont think a single Cap transfer will be enough. - Again, something to test for :)
Also i would definitely keep on a fleet booster, resistance as you point out yourself might be worthwhile, but i really think any of them will do...

good luck :)

DPS might be a bit of an issue in the bigger sites, Some of the overseers have pretty high tank (1660+ for Sansha?) and that fit seems to have 500 dps or less. Also I believe that some of he 10/10 sites have very high Alpha that might cause you issues.

8/10 and below should be fine.

PS do you live in a WH? If so you make more isk from C3-4 sites than you will ever make from DED sites (unless you consistently get great drops) let alone C5 or even better C5-6 with Cap escalations.

Thanks for the answers, I don't have any real experience with DEDs so I'm trying to theorycraft my way into it. Checked the passive specific hardeners and found that they're very effective (~52% for the c-type, which are cheap), so I'm probably going for those in those sites where omni-tank isn't enough. And as mentioned, the neuting is something that will be needed to be tested (on Sisi). And I'll take your advise and start with max 8/10s (would be very bold to start with a 10/10 for the very first site anyway).
About WH-space, I know that C3-C4 are better and I'm mainly doing those today (C3s are a breeze with this trio, could even go for C4s but I rather have domis for them). DEDs are mainly to spice things up abit, doing the same sites gets boring...

Fair enough , running WH sites can get boring very fast :) . Good job the isk is so good.

Have you tried a Paladin for C4 sites, fastest site times you will likely ever have in a Subcap (14 Min Barracks with no effect if you are good) .

Yepp, used to have 3 of them in a Magnetar. The way the sleepers melted was fabolous.
