Eve Online Citadel - In station Environments

Hi

Does anyone else feel that we should be given the option to have "In station Environments" in our new Citadel's ??? Give us the option to turn them on or off, I would love to see the Environment when I am docked up, yes I think its great to see the Structure and see ships near by and be able to see there name etc... All am saying is please give us the option "tick box or a button to flip between the 2.

Whats your thoughts ????

Although it might be nice, I'd much prefer that CCP concentrated on other things. Maybe in the future.

I don't see why they can't at least keep the current station interiors as well as the new external view.

Well the smaller ones where you dock on the outside no. The large ones where you dock on the inside, citadel ship spinning does make sense.

Still waiting for the old station environments to be redone and released.
Good luck with getting ones for citadels.

Actually being able to see who or what's outside your citadel when you are docked inside is a big plus.


For years people asked to be able to know who was camping them at the undock because... why can't i simply look out of the window?

Not to mention you can check if an anomaly in space has just spawned, if someone is scouting your citadel, and so on

I'm not even kidding. Every single big change that CCP does to this game and some simpleton opens a thread in GD asking for a magical switch that keeps things the way they are, because change is scary.

Not to say that I think the removal of the station environment is a good thing, it feels like a step back especially after the walking avatars and such was introduced with such proud a few years ago. 'Incarna' is still a thing that needs to happen in some form and removing station interiors is not going to help with that.

But for f*ck sake stop asking for switches for every damn thing!

Ya, if they did decide to have interiors for them then it should be forced. Its a game mechanic that way. Not having them does make life easier like said. Would be cool to have to have gunner skills and permissions to see outside since irl the people running the place would be the only ones with access to outside scanners, but there I go thinking too much.
