Nine months ago I stopped playing Eve. I don't miss it! I still had three months of subscription to run, so I bunged Maurauders V into the queue and walked away. I don't miss it! I saw the summer this year, I took an exotic holiday, I'm getting six or more hours sleep each night, my work productivity improved, I did things around the house that needed doing. I don't miss it! I don't miss the trolls, the ship toasting, the ganking, the scams, this game is full of the worst dregs of human society I have ever met and if I never see you again then I won't...

I could take your post two ways, either you did miss it or you forgot to cancel a recurring subscription in which case a support ticket might be more beneficial.

Of course, which is why I said one option was 'you did miss it'.


I'm well versed in sarcasm, I'm English after all.

Problem with sarcasm is, it doesn't always work well when in print. Unless of course you know the person.

Lol it's so true ....but the idea you cannot balance eve and life is wrong but welcome back 😁 hopefully you adapt your play style so you can continue the other things you like to do in life .

but yeah once you experience eve most other games do feel soul less to me and I will be here till they turn the lights off ...but yeah rl comes first

With a thread with a title of 'I don't miss it', I did miss it.

The joys of being over tired, must of started to drop of towards the end, the most telling part.

I avoid this problem the same way I avoid the pain of quitting smoking: I slow down a whole lot, but I never 'stop' lol (that way I can enjoy a smoke once every 2 months and not feel like a quitter lol).
