[META] If you could dictate the global narrative ...

... what would it be like ?

I'm not sure everyone knows how I define "the narrative" here.

I play this game in storylines. The narrative is me being "me" ...
... making sure people know and talk about what I want.

It involves doing something that affects others.

CODE certainly did not invent "always wins" ...
... I was there first. (Grrr DJ)

The point is that when it comes to storylines ...
... and the narrative people know and talk about ...
... then you can not ever lose ...
... as long as people recognize you. :)

*sips tea*

(:
:)

Now that you have a rough image of what I am talking about ...

If you could, how would you dictate the global narrative ? :)

How would it be like?

Assume you have the support, if necessary. (:

The forums are a very part of this as well...
We're lacking proper propaganda, btw.

Thanks ! :D

I don't see the point you're trying to make. :p

And don't tell me you never thought of having influence... :P

If I had a death note that worked on player's characters, I would make everyone trash all of their items and biomass themselves after admitting publicly on how shameful their existence has been.

But death might be too easy... I might make all the gankers mine veld spar in bantams while being bumped by freighters or something perverted like that.

Looking to talk on VOIP with other EVE players? Are you new and need help with EVE (welfare) or looking for advice? Looking for adversarial debate with angry people?

New Eden just makes a whole lot more sense if you believe that it is I, Unsuccessful at Everything behind the scenes pulling all the strings and ruling with a Tritanium fist.

Narrative is another corporate buzzword that started out as grating and went downhill from there.

No one had to invent it, it's just what we do.

Also it made the AG crowd really mad if loyal wrote it in local, so it kinda became a thing. Soon after that it was also discovered that "The Code Always wins" will work as a ship name, and it was just hilarious to see a cloud of Catalyst wrecks with that message.

What is the use for a secret that anybody can know.

Lets just make a global **** shoveling, into everyones ears. While the people are busy cleaning their hearing orifices, we can do a money printing sheme unbothered.
