Main idea - they can fit a camo module that can immitate a battleship/capital hull by creating a hologram in space.
Main purpose - hide real capitals and battleships in fleet / scare oppenents away / use as bait.

No modules (apart from warfare links maybe) can be active while the camo module is on. The camo projects full health of the immitated ship, but the camo can tank only 1-5% (depending on skill) of the immitated HP. The module should work on a race specific fuel and after it is disabled (tanked that 5%) it should have a 1-5 min cooldown.

So you want to look dangerous beeing their purpose?
I have a solution for you and your alliance: form defense fleets, hide less.

Q-ships won't happen. If you want a Q-ship so badly, fly a Gnosis.

Why do you want to hide your capitals ? Are you sacred to loose them if so spin them on the station.

Ive always liked the idea of this ever since i read the 'Starfire' series by David Weber and Steve White (Crusade, In Death Ground and The Shiva Option). The ships would use what they would call a 'deception ECM' in order to appear as a different class of ship to sensors. Im not sure how it could be practical in Eve, and balancing it would be an absolute *****.

But then again, your "idea" for deception ECM type abilities are only the veil for what you are really suggesting here:

So what you really want is some form of an overshield, giving your ship an extra 5% of a capital's HP on a subcap hull.

So... No.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
