*First and foremost, this post has nothing to do with any gameplay or mechanics.

Since I was young, I have been nearly obsessed with miniature ship models; setting them up in mock scenarios and simply admiring every detail of the pieces. For some time now, I have been searching for anyone, any place, that makes *properly scaled* die-cast ship models from Eve Online. I've seen people 3D printing ships all over the place, but I've never seen a sturdy die-cast model. Is there such a thing? Has CCP ever sold any or thought of selling any?

I know I'd personally by these things up like hotcakes! I've always wanted to have ships from the Eve Online Universe perpetually squared off against ships from the Star Wars Universe. Food for thought, CCP Marketing department!

Amarr vs The Empire
Caldari vs The Old Republic
Gallente vs The New Republic
Minmatar vs The Rebel Alliance

Nerdgasms, Nerdgasms everywhere!

*If this thread is better suited to a different board, then perhaps somebody can move it, but considering that this board is "GENERAL Discussion," I figured it'd be fine.

**Oh, and before somebody says, "Maybe CCP should worry about fixing x problem instead of making toys for the man-child masses..." I'm quite certain that CCP Devs, or their resources, would not be taken away from working on the game to make Die-cast MODELS (not toys, damn it), just spitballing.

Very nice! Albeit, I was thinking smaller, but this is a promising start!

Unfortunately that's all that's been done under licence regarding the diecast scene.

Screw Diecast... I want Rifter themed Nordic sweaters. I've been informed my wife would actually let me wear one.
