My father just phoned and told me that one of our cats just died.

They found her missing and were looking for her at the usual spots in the house and have find her in my bedroon, laying cold on her side between the dresser and the bed.

She never was ill. Her behavior was as ordinary these days. This is the second time we lose abruptly a seemingly healthy cat.

Her name was "Lady". She was like 9 or 10 years old, now can't think and remember. Our other cat is her mother, who's ill from hyperthyroidism and we give her pills every day to control her hormone levels.

And yet the one who's dead is "Lady". I had seen her being birth as a wet puff of white hair. And now she's gone? Just like this? What the F?

Life makes little sense sometimes, doesn't it. Cry

Got coffee, listening to EVE podcasts at work, need to send an email to the client on this project, and I may do that at some point.

I"ve got a Christmas party after work tonight, from 7 til whenever, plus I have to bake a coffee cake tonight before I crash for our project lunch tomorrow. But I have to be up and out very early so I really need to crash early, like about halfway through the party.

My head hurts due to lack of sleep right now, but I have coffee.
