So I just finished a Frostline site in high-sec

Now what?

Seriously, the biggest source of tension was wondering when someone was going to come along and steal the loot at the end. Turns out the only people in system were busy running missions instead. They didn't bother to show up. I'm glad I could finish one which is kind of funny because I was heading back home after an aborted foray into low. In like 5 jumps the site appeared.

So in a way it was a relief. On the other hand, the site itself isn't that interesting. It was basically an L2 with a BC at the end and some Quafe Zero that I can sell a bit down the line when the prices recover.

Oh how cute. Would that change anything of what I said ? Nope.

Seriously, those sites are designed, just like the crimson harvest, to be accessible by veryone, even the very newest of players.

Its designed to be a event loot pinata. What did you expect ? Waves of hard hitting battleships ?

No i expect cowards like you to post with there main chars instead of hiding behind alts

And yes in high sec when running sites we get alot of tensions as *** ends like you come in all the time and steal the faction loot because like PvP against new players, u do what's easiest with no regards for who upset

Why?

Because you're a coward, period.

someone stole one from me in highsec. I was even about to abandon the wreck because I'm nice like that, as I really don't need another shirt. there could have been some tension from that, a slightly different setup including a scram and Twisted

barring spawns in very busy systems (Jita and Niarja come to mind) most of the ones I've found have been uncontested. overall not a lot of tension over this event.

Jesus christ, your a gold mine of tears. Your stuff gets stolen, you shrug it off. Someone posts with a alt, you keep raniting about it in 3 subsequent posts. If you have "stong" feeling about it, you should make your own thread about it instead of hijacking this one.

Last time i checked this thread was about the frostline event in highsec so could we stay on topic ?

Stealing stuff in high is boring as hell. I gues thats why its happending so rarely. Living in null has the advantige that this stuff does not happen :-)

The frostline sites can be cleared easily by a cruiser. Im not shure if there are any quality differences between high, low, null and WH. I gues that would contradict the giveaway nature of the event.

For a day or two I went around in a jackdaw, letting other players get the can and then steal them in an attempt to bait them into engaging me. But the loot from wormholes is so much better now I just pop into wormholes and run them in my stratios. It's actually one of the most tense things I've done in Eve, I'm risky a fairly valuable ship for the isk I have, somebody could be stalking me and I'd have no idea, and no local.

This is a signature.

It has a 25m signature.

No it's not a cosmic signature.

Probably.

Btw my corp's recruiting.

Hey you better watch yourself, us alts outnumber you ten to one.

You're right, the site itself, and the typical loot therein, is rather mundane. It's the getting out in space and running them down part that's interesting.

Over the weekend I went into an empty wormhole, then went into an empty C5 from there. As I was running one of it's four Frostlines the return hole collapsed. Great. I went through the C5 static into another empty hole with more Frostlines. From there, another C5 but this one was filled with ships and towers with Cyrillic names. I noped out of there as quickly as I could and by sheer luck one of the first sigs I scanned was the C3 static exit. That C3 had a static lowsec hole and I knew I'd be safe if I could make it through that. Unfortunately, after only finding a nullsec hole, combat scanner probes showed up. Dammit. So I took a chance and whelped into null, not knowing if I'd end up next door to home, or fifty jumps away behind hellcamps... Fortunately, although it was a busy system there were no bubbles on the gates, and it was only six gates away from The Forge lowsec. Safe at last! On my way home I did see a highsec Frostline that I checked out, to find a Gnosis running it already. His MTU meant I couldn't get the loot myself. Oh well.

Total for the excursion: nine Frostlines, nine minimal drops. Lots of tension at times. I wish I felt more confident about engaging in solo PvP, but whatever.

ps - by "empty" wormholes I of course mean "filled with dozens of cloaky Lokis."

Want to fix Frostline sties in Highsec? Make it so CONCORD doesnt respond to aggression in those sites.

Highsec Frostline sites fixed.

I think that Frostline sites in highsec shouldnt drop quafe or any other extras, just shirts to compensate for added safety of that loving bubblewrap helicopter parent cocoon.

Yeah.. like that'll happen.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
