pod warping inside plex

so i was fighting in a plex when i disc. un fortunatley i was scrammed at the time so i died. but when i relogged my pod wapred back inside the plex not to the gate.

is this working as intended?

Yeah. If you log out in space you warp back to where you were.

yes i know that. but i assumed if in a plex u would warp back to the gate. otherwise log off traps could be exploited?

I'm not positive but I believe there is a timer, as long as you log back on within some amount of time you warp directly back to the site. Not sure how long the timer is but I have had it happen both ways.

I can confirm this as someone who regularly disconnects inside a plex. I don't know what the exact time frame is but it's fairly short (a few minutes at most).

what they said ^

last I checked the timer was ~2 mins. It was similar to the mods stay active timer, unsure if it is connected to the stay in space timer. Haven't tried testing it out in a while.

It has worked like that for many years. If you log back in really quickly you won't land on the accel gate, you'll land inside the plex.
