Hello

Earlier today, I had a player come up "skull on red background" on the local chat frame.

The scenario is 2 players in the same corp, same fleet, but only 1 has the skull. 1 a hulk pilot the other a orca pilot. Both were fleeted before undocking. Rolling forward an Hour, I noticed the Orca pilot had the skull in local chat frame. The Hulk pilot did not.

Now, no jet cans were launched to be flipped. The skulled pilot as far as I am aware, never entered the belt i was in. So my question is. How can a player be a skull to one, but not the other in this situation

Thankyou in advance of your answers

I thought the same, but there was no way I was attacked. Plus does not the hulk pilot, being in fleet and same corp get attack rights too?

Im leaning towards a bug of some sorts. But thankyou for your response.

The player was not skulled in local chat frame, to my Hulk pilot. That means it was not a GCC.

How did he agress my orca pilot without agressing my hulk pilot (while in fleet). and basically without me even seeing him do it ?

As far as i understand things, the skull icon is just an indication of the pilot's security status. Has nothing to do with aggression or GCC. Now if the pilot's icon was flashing red, that's a different story. In that case, the pilot has GCC and you are allowed to shoot him in highsec.

Again if that was the case it would be so, for my Hulk pilot. the matter is moot though. As the player in question has a sec status of +2.2. He was not wanted or had any bounty.

Considering the wide array of possible overview set ups you could be using, it is impossible to answer your question with anything more than a guess.

More information is needed.

Perhaps the overview settings were not the default.

For example, I can make it so that everyone with + standing has the red and skull icon... not a good idea though.
