Couple of questions for all of you wormhole vets. High-sec carebear here...

When I first ventured out into WH space, after 2-3 hops, I found myself in a Class "13" WH which I thought was some sort of weird mistake or bug, but then I looked up these Shattered WHs. Among all of the sites, I found "Silent Battleground".
Or.... _almost_ found it. I couldn't get past 93% signal strength.

Question 1: Would this be expected with:
- Flying a Buzzard with CovOps IV
- Astrometric Rangefinding IV
- Core Probe Launcher II with Sisters Scan Probes
- Scan rangefinding array (1x)
- Astrometrics V

After looking this site up, I realized it was worth it to jack up my scan strength, so the plan is to train CovOps V immediately, and also sub in a Sisters core probe launcher. Substitute my pinpointing array for another rangefinding array perhaps.

Question 2: Would doing any or all of these things help get me to 100% on Silent Battleground?

Question 3: Is Silent Battleground unguarded loot? It sounds like an insanely awesome site.

Question 4 -

Is it possible, via warping, to fly outside the perimeter of the further planets / moons / celestials in a system? Some WHs I encountered were pretty small, and I could never seem to find a safe spot that was way far away from anything. Is there a way to warp off into a sort of no-mans-land in a corner of a system if no entities are there?

Tip: Rearrange your probes into a cube to get better results when stuck at high percentages. The default stack is sub-optimal.

Also you seem lucky, since you caught jester on a good day.

Haven't decided if I'm getting back in just yet. With the holiday season, and planning my wedding, work, and such... Just not sure yet. I really do miss the game, but even if I had the time, I just don't have the inclination to get back into the fray.

Maybe I'll find something fun soon. For now, I'm just lurking about, reading and seeing how the community is going. Glad to see everyone is doing well, Ms. Dusette. Look forward to more chats in the future.

(Also, to the OP, don't worry too much about knowing what to expect or asking what works in wormholes. As someone who dove into them before anyone knew what to expect or what worked, figuring it out for yourself is what makes this gameplay amazing!)

Know the feeling. Life for our lovely puppeteer has been in turmoil of late and likewise we're not as active as we'd like to be. Just returned from a 2-3 month break in fact. Lovely to see you lurking about again in any event.

I agree with Mr Diadochu, OP.

If you can afford a few losses then just jump in and learn the hard (yet fun) way.

Even better if you have friends to share the experience with who're also interested in wormholes. Learn together and back each other up. Five years ago I moved into a C1 with several friends, no clue what I was doing, died almost daily to begin with but was still hooked instantly. Five years on I'm still in wormholes and couldn't play EVE any other way. Hard to beat having your own little slice of space to live, adventure and make some ISK in.

I can't ever get married, Mr Trinkets.

Only person in Boss's family who can is her. After which all our lives are dedicated to that one individual, the family Patron. You gotta understand her culture to get it, I suppose.

Though I can still play around. But Jester ain't my type when it comes to that stuff. I like space men that are taller than me for starters. With Jester it's more a love/hate thing.

He's just a friend n' we go way back to the Sky Fighters days. I still like flyin' with him though, nothin' like going on adventures with Jester if you want to be left with aching sides from all the laughing, sore face from all the cringing, and hilarious killmails/videos of stream ganks and other such debauchery, sir.
