Any Xmas events, CCP?

Will there be any X-mas events? Is Frostline such and event and in that case why is it "delayed"?

Yes, Frostline is a winter related event.

It begins next Tuesday (8 Dec) with the next release and runs through the rest of the month.

It's not the Christmas gifts as far as I know. I think they are coming separately from what I have seen of them and the Frostline loot, however I could be wrong on that.

Yeah that's my conclusion as well! CCP Seagull just says that it will run into the new year...?
According to this...

Is Frostline a new expansion? In that case permanent and not a Xmas event...

No, Frostline isn't the name of the release and not a permanent feature.

It developed as a result of the success of the Crimson Harvest event at Halloween. Will just run a bit longer than that did and the loot is different. The sites are a bit different too, but still relatively easy and quick to run.

You know what, as fun as it is to get these 'things' for Christmas, they are also rather spurious.

If CCP wants to give out hulls for ships we can actually fly, then cool!

Also, if CCP wants the PDU to explode, they need to run competitions where someone logged in receives a SuperCap every 5 minutes from December 12th through December 24th :P

Just spawn the ships (with a cloak) and give the person a bookmark to go get it.

Let the fun begin!

Just keeping the servers fired up and running past the holidays is all I need. In all likely-hood, I may not even loggin on the 25th due to me actually...you know...celebrating the very holiday you guys are speaking of.

Come to think of it, uh weird question, but been thinking actually. Is there a way for players to, say, gift another player unallocated skill points? I still have the 50k from "Pizza Night" and haven't really use them, so can I send them to CCP or a trusted middleman player to be gifted to some random, maybe a new kid who could actually really use a free 50k boost? That would be pretty cool.

In keeping with a long time Christmas tradition, thoughts of presents will turn to dreams of wondrous and amazing gifts.

In return, CCP will give us underwear...oh, and probably socks as well.

Merry Christmas to all and to all, a good white.

To buck the popular trend, I began to Rage Start instead of Rage Quit.

...and every time I get another piece of Carbon, I know exactly what CCP is getting this Christmas.

I enjoyed the blood raider event, it gave useful items, useful items that you couldn't get anywhere else.

The christmas event is a major let down.

How can any event be a major letdown on day one, when we have not even seen what the sites are dropping yet???!!!!

Dont forget the Carbon - xmas is not complete without some coal

Also dont forget my Pizza delivery drone that I was (Kind of) Personally promised on 'Pizza night'

More Fireworks and Snowballs please, and Festival Launchers - can never have enough??!!

Anything else CCP-Santa chooses to give would be welcomed, but not expected.

Its not our right to get free-bies, but any given would of course be appreciated by the loyal player base.

PS - can we have a jingle bell sound on each gate jump??

Someone got all the rewards on the test server, just lots of random junk (synth boosters, etc). We wondered if it was just placeholder loot for the test server, but the operation frostline announcement yesterday confirms that is the actual loot What? When it mentions "implants" as a reward, it refers to 4% damage to medium hybrid turrets and such, those kind of implants. Not unique event training time implants or boosters.
