1. Make a horribly imbalanced and unnecessarily convoluted space game with a wretched UI.

2. Continue to make a horribly imbalanced and unnecessarily convoluted space game with a wretched UI.

3. Expect that they can keep on creating a horribly imbalanced and unnecessarily convoluted space game with a wretched UI while other titles are on the horizon.....

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

Here's mine in order of how much I hate them.

The (not new any more) super tiny and oh so damn many space icons,

Cap (and related) nerfs,

Fozziesov.

I can force myself to live with the last two but those tiny horrid icons keep me from playing as I can't see well enough to tell one from the other.

Whomever is making the last few years decisions on what changes are to be implemented in this game, must hate Eve with all their being.

Yes, it was definitely the "lowered bar" of predominantly cosmetic and QOL changes that caused the ensuing (and much needed) decrease in market prices, and not the very significant increase in per-site loot drops. Roll

Aw, c'mon. Tell us what you really think!

I just cancelled my SWTOR account. (Long story there.) While making coffee yesterday after a few years of playing it, and this, something dawned on me. In SWTOR we have WiS (walking your little "I made this myself" character around in your ship.) Actually, in SWTOR there are things players can access and do from inside their ships. However, that game occurs on planets with comparatively little in-space activity.

I found it quite annoying to have to walk my character around the ship to do things, sometimes from one end to the other. I know players that still can't find their ways around some of the ships, and all that trial and error and running up the wrong passageways, having to retrace steps just adds a significant amount of time added to accomplish simple tasks that becomes very annoying after a few...minutes. I wound up dreading having to do that - enter the ship, and avoided it at all costs.

From that experience, looking at EVE's so-called WiS and what that amounts to in in-game functionality, I'd say designing it and building it, from the standpoint of game functionality (not as some artist/developer's pet project,) was a complete waste of time and effort. The irony being, CCP suffered a cascading series of crises which caused them to actually contort the game development around the commitment to produce this feature, which would make a list going way past the OP's "3 worst...."

WiS - the harbinger of disaster.

There just isn't anything that can be said!

#2 The staleness of New Eden. The Drifter menace is a potential change for that, maybe.

Got to agree both. The exploration one was a big hurt. While wanted people in null, the skill and ship required to do nullsec exploration was important to preserve value of the higher risk sites.

Drifters? Will see if it is developmental and inclusive or just a nuisance

To be fair, once it was possible for certain groups to AoE supercaps off the field, the writing was on the wall for AoE. It didn't just anti blob, but anti everything. It was even used on small gang.
