1 day before its deployed.

What is the winter patch?

Basically I see...


1) NEX items
2) Capitans closets for the other 3 races (700mb x 3)
3) Popular ship nerf (rebalancing)
4) More people leaving

I want to call it "Revenge of the CCP Dev's" Instead of "The Lost Hope". So the next one can be called "A New Hope"...

But anyway...
I don't really think it will be that bad. I've heard some interesting things about what will be coming.

Frankly, Winter patch is CCP's last chance in many eyes I think. If they screw this one up, and they will, more people will just be pissed off due to expectations not met. So many people are either 1) in denial and/or 2) just playing out their isk until better games come out at Christmas.

If I was working at CCP, i would be biting off arms to get onto the World of Darkness teams and off Eve, oh wait, they probably are already on them lol

They also will open the door probably but what's the point when everybody has Incarna disabled, oh wait, they will make that mandatory too. lol, I don't think anybody gives a rats about walking in stations when it just burns out your machines, even powerful machines like I have, sorry the fans are too deafening for too long when in stations, I will just log out in space and remote trade instead if CQ is mandatory in Winter.

My biggest worry is the lack of explanations on 'Establishments'

My fear is that they are going to be something to 'access' from your solo room... when what we actually want is a multiplayer environment that we can walk to (remember what WIS stands for CCP), and interact with the owner and other customers.

One of the recent interviews i read at a game site stated that you would be able to rent a space and setup an establishment then buy 'things' to decorate the place with. I hope this isnt another 'Door' picture that we view when interacting with the establishment.

Basicly CCP... if you can't produce a multiplayer station environment for us this winter then WIS / Incarna is total FAIL.

Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Winter patch is gona be ****** and a big disappointment after waiting to download a 2gb patch and wasting much monthly bandwidth quota on it.

2gb for those features? (700mb x 3 for the Capitans closets for the other 3 races) plus other stuff...

Not worth it really.
