CCP Streams: Feedback Thread

Hey guys

So at the moment, we're running CCP Streams, where various CCPers stream content every week day. We've got a variety of different things lined up, but we want to hear back from you on a few things.

  • Have you watched any of the streams yet?
  • How does the time of the stream work for you? Would you prefer it to be later or earlier than 19:00UTC?
  • What do you think of the content so far?
  • Is there anything you can think you that you think we should try streaming? Remember, it must be related to something we do at CCP.

Let us know in this thread, as well as any other thoughts about our streaming.

CCP Streaming Dust was awesome.It was like hey we are playing your game.What would be nice if you could rotate some other CCP people like Hilmar ,Rouge,Frame,China Devs etc.They don't have to talk ,it would be nice just seeing a ccp tag in the game like back in closed beta.

    • Works pretty good for me, since it lands on my lunch break. Also can listen to the bantor while I'm coding away.

    • The content could feel more alive, add webcam or random action music!
    • You could try stream tours through CCP HQ. Surprise visits of known/unknown CCPers and flying around HQ with Rifter model.

    Only Happy Little Spaceships. I'm not much into Let's Plays.

    How does the time of the stream work for you? Would you prefer it to be later or earlier than 19:00UTC?
    Could be a bit later. 19:30 or even 20:00 UTC.

    What do you think of the content so far?
    I really enjoyed Happy Little Spaceships, was nice to watch it in after a hard day at work. Quite, relaxing and a welcome change to other streams about destoying more even faster. Creating, not destroying.

    Pretty good. Enjoyable and fairly light hearted. Shame Logibro got blown to pieces so many times, would love to have seen some fun battles.

    3) Anything would like to watch

    Competitive GM ticket answering.

    I'd like to see some more roams, but I'd like to see a better match, maybe a "CCP does FCing" or something where players can opt in to a fleet and then devhack them to a random or chosen location. Maybe disband the fleet each time so lots of different players get to go along.

    Saw today's stream with CCP Jorg, it was amazing. It filled the void that Bob Ross left.

    i watched part of the dust stream and the full replay of the art stream. liked both since i don't own a ps3 so i can't play dust and the art stream i found very interesting.

    how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

    I like watching Eve related streams, but you need to announce them sooner. A forum post like, in a few hours we will be streaming X wont work. And it's only more annoying, because then often you missed the stream already.

    Why dont you use the in game billboards to announce them or even just to let players in game know, a stream is active now ?

    New content is great, but if the PR is bad, it's a waste of time..... Blink

    I like it so far .. its fun and interesting. But you really need to improve the announcements. I talked to my buddy about it just now and he had no idea whats going on, despite reading the forums. I mean, even the feedback thread here is kinda hidden ;)

    And please, tone down the background music/sound a little bit. Its sometimes hard to understand the talking

      • Time is ok, but streams on the weekend would be much better because i have little time for gaming and related stuff during the week.

      • I have seen only 1 stream so far. The one in which CCP Logibro got blobbed by 0.0 groups. Not that interesting ...
      EDIT: Just watched the cooking stream. It was fun. The face of CCP Falcon when he tasted his cake ... LOL

      • Let CCP Rise do PvP streams again! For example, he could show the effects of rebalancing or new ships/modules in live combat. It would be pretty hard to prevent stream sniping though.

    The streams at 17:00 EVE time are too early, even for Europeans like me. The streams at 19:00 EVE time were ok.

    I have watched most of it, can't say how many or how few, but most of it.
    The stream time works for me now, I'd prefer it to be at 19:00 UTC or later.
    Content was pretty solid. I especially liked the lore tour where we visited some of the old monuments, I could watch more of that.
    Live stream idea: CCP employees sit down and talk how they got into the game and how they now work for CCP

    I don't belive in reincarnation I've never believed in it in my previous lives either...
