Kill the friggin' launcher already ffs...

Okay CCP, you tried, hard, very hard, and failed.


Kill the launcher, go back to the old ingame login.



I launched the game the other day, i had to clear the cache because the stupid launcher was checking the ressources and it was doing 1% per second, meaning it would take 100 seconds to do it all, after that, fooled around a lil' bit in ls with my pals, then logged off.

After a couple of hours i got a ping on jabber, calling to arms, so I launched it again, and again 1% per second... as soon as I logged in the fleet had already taken off.


Or when it decides to not accept the password, or to ask for the autheticator code again, or it just doesn't load up, appearing as just a white window... its ****** up most of the time...


So yeah, IT FUCKIN SUCKS, it's about goddamn time to make THE coice, make it good, or make it ded.

You do know you don't have to use the launcher to get into the game?

using the normal launcher or the new beta launcher? The beta one has been rock solid for me.

Beta launcher works like a charm.
But I honestly doubt that you can handle installation or even settings migration process with that whiny attitude of yours.

You can also try changing your Launcher Settings to "Download all the resource files".
First time running the launcher takes the same time checking files, but subsequent launches are much quicker.
This fixed the long startup lags for me.

It gave me problems when I enabled the authenticator.

Didn't know there was a new launcher in beta, I guess the original was so awful that they had to make a new one from scratch XD

Nice features, tools, migrating settings, handling sisi and tq by itself, multiple instanaces launch... so far looks better than the other one, we will see how it behaves...

ok i admit a have zero problems with the launcher really. Not even joking or trolling. The only "problem" i have is that i need to put my activation code every time even if i hit the box's "Don't ask for codes again on this computer".

Thats the only issue i have the rest fine fast update no lag no strange bugs nothing. So can not say the need to kill the launcher.
however the launcher is (a sort spy ware) thats see what you are running in the background and collect other data like hardware and sort.

But thats with all launchers.
