Original hippies were black, To be hip meant to push into the white mans face that he was not ok. You did this by acting and looking in ways that made "the man" show his hypocrisy to himself. Wear military clothing while preaching peace. Sex with wild open abandon in a sexually repressed society. Be a me underneath this ugly face in an ugly community.

I doubt there are many, what would you do?

I once ecounterned some hipies in one of my endavors.

They were actualy looknig for Eden. the epsiode is callled way to Eden too.

Looks like they didnt quiet make it to new Eden - or maybe they did and founded goosewarm fedreation.
