RL currently prevents me from having the time to commit to joining an alliance..thus, why I've been dropping threads all over the place on this forum.
my plan for now is to stick to solo. so that means...........solo=pve.
that is how i am playing at the moment.much more relaxing then pvp. when i play games, i like for it to be relaxing (well, until i go smashing young folks in in a certain game coming out on november 6th *cough* cod bo 3 *cough*
so far..i have a harpy (i sold it earlier today because i won't be using it for a while, think) and now i have completely gone a random direction into minmatar ships because artillery turrets..DAT ALPHA DAMAGE THO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so i though to myself..broadsword muninn, maelstrom....then i discovered te wonders of the glorious missile maser race and decided to swap over to the Bellicose (DAT PAINT BONUS THO!). At this point, for battleships, it was down to the raven or typhoon..but then i was thinking that the raven looks A BIT..BIT....too similar to an x-wing (therefore being kind of cliche and lame ish) so i decided on the typhoon...because the typhoon actually looks cool.
Now all of this is under the backdrop of my "big plan".....for a Tech 3 cruiser, the loki (since it happens to be the one that will become level 5 for it's skill level and not caldari cruiser to level 5) as well as..
as well as maybe in the distant future, if all goes well...to get a carrier..
a certain carrier..
a rather specific one i had in mind......
cuz like....
DAT CHIMERA THO!
SWAGGIEST LOOKING CARRIER OF THEM ALL

Any thoughts? (for bellicose, loki, maybe typhoon and possibly chimera plan i have?)

For solo PVE with limited time you should consider the http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Machariel

Gurista ships are also fun - try running anomalies in a Worm or level 4 missions in a Gila.

Note that there are player corporations that cater to casual players - they don't all have CTA's or other mandatory ops and it's nice to have familiar faces in corp chat when you login!

Edit: Machariel will have the added bonus of scaring any freighter pilots you encounter during your travels!

A player corp. would still probably be better.

You will find some of their members are only casual. Real life always comes first.

The tendency for players with limited time is to think they don't have the time to commit to a corp. and so won't be able to help that corp. as much as they think they should. But a lot of corps will have players in the same boat and won't really mind that much as long as you log-in on a fairly regular basis and have explained that presently you have limited time.
