Start Eve in Window Mode For First Time

Is there a way to always make eve use window mode, even on first run? I hate when my cache and settings get trashed during an update and all of sudden I'm back at full screen.

I'm having loading graphics issues (NOT with the launcher), and I think this might be a workaround.
