Right, but if you'll look back, I was addressing the use of meat as a low-energy-investment source of protein. Grains can't fill that role.

Good point.

So, beans then?

Vatmeat. It's all Vatmeat, as far as the eye can see!

Fungus is also good, although you can also grow algae and form it into all sorts of food-ish products.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I don't usually talk about the weather because it's a topic that is difficult to segue into an invitation to #watchholoflixandchill.

There is nothing like having the opportunity to light some sandlewood scented candles and watch a movie curled up together with a close girlfriend on the sofa. Although I'm usually far too engrossed in the plot to be much one for conversation while watching movies.

Which Holoflix do you prefer? I'm a fan of the Inspiring director "Jean-Luc Durant" of the Caldari Navy

Anything really but comedies mostly, or b-grade horror/sci-fi crossovers done well that's over-the-top and the actors know they're camp. Like ZombieFurriers or Nanite Lords: Sansha's Love Slaves. Because damn, there's nothing better to spend a lazy night in than eating popcorn and watching flesh eating furriers or a silly menage-a-trois in Nation where the whole time they're discussing transhumanism and gender identities until they are all covered in nanite paste.

The last Caldari movie I watched was a Nugo romcom about a Deteis who applied for corporate marriage but the daughter's father disapproved of it so he schemed to have his future son-in-law's skull measurements imply he's Civire instead of genetic Deteis -- with hilarious results.

For me, it probably has one of the funniest exchanges delivered by a janitor:

"Brothers and Sisters are natural enemies,
Like Gallenteans and Caldari,
Or Amarrians and Caldari,
Or Minmatar and Caldari,
Or Caldari and other Caldari, damn Caldari, they ruined the State!"

Then his manager says, "We Caldari sure can be a contentious people."

And the janitor shouts, "You just made an enemy for life!"

Aside from that probably any kind of action movie from the Republic, because at least they shoot real bullets and make actual explosions during filming while never looking back at said explosions. Never looking back at explosions while you put on a pair of aviators is like Minmatar rule to life number one or something.

Wait, you've seen ZombieFurriers?

I didn't think that was still in circulation! I grew up watching that! I used to be a huge fan until it was essentially banned in our region for "Explicit content," It's not like people haven't seen internal organs before. I may have to borrow it sometime, But on the subject of B-grade horror, have you seen "My husband is a Fedo"? It's entertaining as all hell, it's from Amarr so it's of course filled to the brim with info about how "Olfactory implants can detect a fedo from 1,500m away," however I can't help but question the idea of smelling old mushrooms or legumes when I could just open a chemical toilet.

Irregardless, It's a flick I recommend, one of those novelty ones you watch as a child that you essentially forget about until you're sitting lazily in a station and look through a bin of rejected films only to find by pure chance.

Damn. That's the most ******* accurate thing I've heard all year. Of course, iron sharpens iron. We're the stronger for the continuous competition and struggle. Undercutting your neighbor's price is ingrained into Caldari culture and has produced a lean, efficient people who hold every other in mutual respect. A cunning opponent is a stalwart friend. Of course we all stand together when the time comes. To us, we are Nugoeihuvi and CBD and Ishukone, but to the cluster, we are the matchless Caldari State.

Ah, what about State Executors?

The position has been removed before the successor could take the seat.
So far last Executor has shown himself as the greatest hero, but it doesn't mean we don't have heroes anymore. We are Caldari, and we are still strong, even if Sansha kills best of us. Kuvakei WILL pay for this.

Funny story, it's not Gallente propaganda, it's the official Caldari position on the matter....
