...specifically about the location of the Dscan button. Why after so many years was it moved from the right side of the window to the left? Do you realise that you have added mouse travel distance for players who choose to click dscan rather than bind a hotkey?

This may seem like a minor annoyance but it feels like this button was moved without legitimate justification. Can we (cc)please have the dscan button restored to its familiar and rightful location?

I realize for some weirdos who locate the dscan window on the right side of their interface that this change may be seen as welcome, but we cannot allow the few oppress the will of the many. First they came for the dscan button location, next will they move the warp button? The lock target button?

I ask YOU, eve online features and ideas discussion readers to rise and be worthy of this historical hour. It is OUR DUTY to stand up and restore the dscan button to its rightful position. We must never give up. WE must stand up TOGETHER. FOR IT IS TOGETHER THAT WE PREVAIL!

You can now set a hotkey to be able to descan without ever clicking a button. MUCH more practical than even returning a button to its previous memory-muscle location.

First just hotkey it, it's literally amzong. Secondly the distance to travel to click the scan button depends on your overview setup. In my case they moved the button closer to e so it I were to click for whatever bazaar reason then it's actually closer for me. I realize you think it's weird to have it the dscan on the right side but lots or people have it on the right side

This whole thread is QQ and I cannot believe I just typed all thisnakd actually read this...

I guess it doesn't matter that it's a hell of a lot bigger now than it was. It even have an effect that shows you've actually clicked on it and d-scan has actually pinged the area. So, while it's been moved to the left of the window rather than somewhere in the middle, I don't see what the issue is. Click on it repeatedly every ten to fifteen seconds for a few minutes while playing normally and muscle memory will take over. I know it's a bit annoying at first, believe me I would have said the same thing a couple days ago. Give more than a second or two of your time.

It was likely moved for uniformity in the layout. Just so happens that it's the same location on the scanning window as the "Analyze" button is on the probe window -- I guarantee you that is intentional. Why is that important? Familiarity, you get used to it once on one system, that translates smoothly over to the other system, shortening the time it takes for you to develop a rhythm that's both natural and instinctive. Fewer methods of controlling and manipulating multiple interfaces means you spend less time overall trying to tell the interface what to do and more time to analyze the data and make a plan of action. Right now, it seems backwards because you and many others, myself including, are already use to a previous design. Within a week, you might not even remember that it use to be in a different spot. Hell, I already have to look up half of the old Overview icons to remember what the hell they use to look like.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
