Rookie Ships are by far in my opinion the most useful ships to use based on their simplicity and cheapness. They are useful for moving stuff, cheap miners and cheap DPS. Unfortunately, to get them, you can either buy them for 40,000ISK with 1 being in each system, or repeatedly docking to unused stations in a capsule. It would be great to manufacture them (super cheap of course) to provide as I mentioned before cheap haulers, scouts, newbie ships etc.

I made that suggestion quite some time ago and got bashed pretty handily for making "such a stupid idea" to the point that one person even put the suggestion in the "One-line bad ideas thread." Be reading for the usual F&I griping!

I will, however, always support making Rookie Ship BP's available.

Not sure what design implications that would have, new players feeling like they have to buy "spare' ships etc.
But as proposed to to the new ideas discussion section, even if players are a bit hostile at first the Devs will see it and might be on their to do list if it is generally conceived as a good idea (by them not us).

wow ... where are you paying 40,000 ISK for a Rookie Ship ? The going price most places is more like a few thousand and even that is a rip off.

When's the last time the devs looked at a request in a GD post and went, "Hey! We should do that!!" Thursday?
