WHY DOES THIS GAME STILL FREAKING BORE THE HELL OUT OF ME!!!!!!!!!

is EVE ever going to be exciting?

Music - take a nap

Combat - 2005 graphics and sound

EVE trailers - usually showing all kinds of stuff that is not in game.... like good cinematic music and effects etc.

SPACE - its freaking small now

Elite dangerous... thats still fun.... back to that.

And yet you took the time and invested the effort to tell us all about your experience, have a cookie.

I thought the same , until I found a group that actually found something to do that doesn't involve the boring bits of eve now eve is fun for me. I suggest you change your ways and do something new instead of sitting in your captains quarter spinning your ship and complaining about how no one runs around making fun things to do for you on demand.

If you have played from the beginning , mastered every skill, been part of all activities in New Eden I apologize - you clearly won EVE and have to move on.

If we can get just 10,000 people to resub for one month a year just to have a look that is about $100K USD a year which would pay for a dev to nerf AFK cloaking or design WIS fedo for the Captains Quarters or something.

Well to be honest, if you feel that way then EvE probably won't satisfy you anymore. I struggled with all the changes to get used to the "new EvE" when I came back it all feels so easy and linear now. But as I said I found my way, I just needed to pull my head out of my arse and live by what I preach. I found it helped me to accept the rules as they are now and find a way to use them to my benefit, basically get rid of the "been there, done that - what's the point" attitude.
Lastly and most importantly: I am a social player I like to play with ppl and get bored alone quickly and I was lucky enough that some old timers came back to eve and adopted me.

Got that map showing how you have visited every single system?
How many newbies have you helped?
You realise they made a whole new method of lighting that the rest of the game industry doesn't have? (As just one way that EVE has incredible graphics)

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Hi,

Ya I see EO as somewhat boring but it is a pasttime and thre are things to do that dont make it so boring for me.

I am relatively new and an older player and if you want to donate anything to me that''d be kool; it will help me with my boredome of Eve.

they have not invented anything in regards to rendering LOL. I do 3d graphics for a living...PBR is nothing new. It's been around for quite some time.

Uh... I guess... if you like your games to be about as deep as a rain puddle.

I think I've played rounds of Candyland that were more nuanced than E:D.

It's the only thing out there that makes X:StillBirth look not all that bad, in comparison.

yeah, cause EVE is DEEP..... you get to sit on a structure for 6 freaken hours literally watching a movie to keep yourself entertained...... in my opinion, when you have to watch a movie because the game is that dull.... there is an issue there.
