'tash growing season is almost upon us!

I usually sport a full beard, but this saturday night (31st October) I shall be shaving it all off and spending November growing in a fine tash.

As well doing this in real life, Zebulon Tucker (space cadet) will be donning a tash for the month, unfortunately I don't think the character creator will let me simulate a growing tash through the month :(

Movember isn't just about growing a tash - it's also about raising awareness around men's health issues, particularly prostate & testicular cancer, suicide and mental health.

So what does this have to do with EVE? Well, I figured I'd combine Movember with my desire to get better at PvP. So what I'm intending to do is devote Movember to PvP, and mainly solo PvP.

I currently have 3 kills on my killboard from a previous attempt at PvP in the summer (SOLO YOLO).

For every kill I add to my killboard during Movember I will donate £3 to Movember. I shall be blogging about my exploits and my blog will also contain other info about men's health issues. In keeping with the 'tash theme I'll be naming all my ships after Freddie Mercury / Queen tracks.

Did this Movember thing a few years ago, managed to raise about £800 for charity, was pretty good but now I keep a beard cause the Mrs likes it, doesnt stop me donating to others who are trying to raise money for charity using movember.

My work tried to persuade a guy to shave his off a few months ago for charity. it failed but he donated 100£ just to keep his beard so worth the effort IMO.

Edit.. Have been doing the Sober for October run, has been a dry(ish) month so far but made a few quid for a needy cause along the way, love this kind of thing when a little gesture can go a long way.

Zebulon is now sporting a handsome 'tache, whereas in real life my face is feeling very bare for the first time in a good few years!

The song had it's 40th Birthday the previous day, so it was only fiting to name my first ship after it, but unfortunatley Bohemian Rhapsody died :(

It's a Hard Life got my first kill of the month! donation made.
