How to copy internet video link with text to EVE chat

Lots of people like to share video links in EVE chat. I often link videos with both internet link and text that tells video name. I needed to exit EVE client two times to transfer video link and text to EVE chat. I have Logitech G13 programmable keyboard and I found macro that transfers video link and text both with one key press.

Here is this macro and explanation what it does:

1. CTRL + C 2. F6 3. HOME 4. CTRL + V 5. CTRL + A 6. CTRL + C 7. CTRL + Z 8. ESC

First I paint video name manually with mouse. Then I press this macro button.

1. CTRL + C this key press copies text to clipboard.
2. F6 This key press activates browser headline.
3. HOME This key press moves cursor to beginning of headline.
4. CTRL + V This key press pastes text from clipboard to beginning of headline.
5. CTRL + A This key press paints whole headline.
6. CTRL + C This key press copies whole headline = text + internet link to clipboard.
7. CTRL + Z This key press returns original headline as it were before it was altered.
8. ESC This key press closes menu that appears to headline after previous key press.

After above key press I can activate EVE client and copy text + link to EVE chat. I still need to manually move text and link to different lines in EVE chat. You can move text to different lines with shift + enter key press.

I hope this text gives lots of inspiration how to make EVE life more interesting.

1) Open a new EVE mail.
2) Create link.
3) Drag it to chat.

he's trying to so something like EvE General Forums

to that IN eve, you can
1)open mail or notepad
2)type description
3)highlight description
4)create link
5)drag'n'drop to desired location, such as chat

2.) Hold nose with left hand.

3.) Hold right foot with right hand.

4.) Carefully hop in a circle - counter clockwise.

5.) Realize, most people in chat don't care about your link and
won't hit it 'cause there's all sorts of ways to minkey with you
by sending you to a bogus website.*

6.) Sense if you still feel the urge to post a link in chat.

7a.) If not, go about your regular business.

7b.) If so, seek professional help.

*The same holds true for your favorite p*orn pictures, cute pictures of cats, music videos of your favorite bands,
music videos of YOUR band, videos of idiots smashing themselves on various items such as bicycle handlebars
and sidewalks via skateboards. 2-hour long dissertations on how the moon landing was a hoax....

There just isn't anything that can be said!
