there a is big sticky with lots of technicals from CCP

but as in all online game there is a message when your client cannot connect to server.

instead of a simple "connection timed out" or "unable to connect to server", they went for a cryptic message implying that something was done do the client.

anyways, short version is you have been disconnected.

99.99% of the case is a timeout on your end of thing (too much download, a peak of paquet loss with your isp, your modem had restart etc...)

in some case there is a cluster problem and some nodes (a few solar systems) get disconnected and usuaily there is 2 or 3 post about in general or here

most of the time though it will be a problem with your ISP, and even if you can "browse" fine or some other internet function is OK, paquet loss or any line issue will kill mmo that needs a stable connection, which is not needed even when streaming video

if you have a dsl connection make sure your cable and plug have no issue, reboot the modem (they sometime get update from isp fixing things) and if you have a control panel or admin access to the modem, check for network errors and paquet loss
but that depends on your isp , and I have no way of helping for that.

good luck

thanks for the tip, i hadn't noticed it since it was so short that it never interupted anything else, but my ISP was randomly dropping my connection for 5 secs. enough to dc eve, but nothing else.

so yea, problem solved, carry on.

thanks.
