Looking at the updates, they say Fall 2015 for Drifter Invasions, so perhaps by the end of next month they may be back up and running.

I'm honestly pretty disappointed.. I was really looking forward to the drifter invasion. This feels like yet another time where the content is going to be released and the story just falls off the map. I was immersed, I was excited by this. And now I hardly login. Go figure.

Yup, Drifter incursions are reintroduced to the system in two days - doesn't mean they'll start Tuesday, but they'll be able to start them now Blink

I'm betting the arc won't resume until after next weekend, which would also serve to explain why the finals for the Succession Trials will be so much later - you wouldn't want five of the six heads of families to have to kill themselves while there's a threat to the Empire, would you?
