Ideas for the visuals of missile launchers

So, not too long ago Missiles underwent a substantial visual improvement.

While the new launchers do look great, I feel like some are missing a little something, or rather, something feels a little off..

To remind all those that may not be aware of their current appearance I took the liberty of making some quick pictures..

Now, If you are not aware the majority of these launchers (with the exception of Rocket launchers) only fire 1 missile at a time dispite being loaded with several more visible missiles (with the exception of Cruise Missile Launchers) and therein lies my annoyance.

I realize that this suggestion will not be high on the list of priorities, but I would still like to put it forward.

Please note that I am only suggesting this as a visual change, and Not suggesting any change in missile damage, launcher DPS or anything of that nature.


What I would like to see is launchers 2 through 7 (see numbers above) launch all of the missiles from a single side of the launcher per cycle, and next cycle launch all of the visible missiles from the other side of the launcher.
or in the case of the Torpedo Launcher, launch a salvo of 3 torpedoes in quick succession per cycle, much like the Citadel Cruise Missile Launcher functions.

My thought is that this visual change can be entirely local and the current serverside missile calculations can remain nearly identical, the only difference being that the local client shows several missiles while the game and server only 'sees' a single entity.

+1 shooting most missiles isn't satisfactory... really lame compare to how cool the launchers actually look!

Been around since the beginning.

Make rapid launchers have a rotary mechanism to them. That'd look cool. They can be on some sort of rotating cylinder that reloads missiles on one side and fires them on the opposite side.

That sounds amazing, and would give more meaning to their name..
