I tend to do things mostly on a whim, depending on my current mood and my fleeting interests. I usually find something that's absolutely amazing, that I'm totally absolutely 100% positive I can't live without, and I get absolutely immersed in it, only to get bored after a few weeks (months at best) and move on to something else. Most of the things, however, are about the pursue of Beauty.

One time, you can find me in an asteroid belt, searching for the most dazzling pieces of minerals to make jewels and pretty stones. From the too common and uninteresting yellowish hue of Tritanium, which inelegant and unsophisticated plainness is being observed, without as much as a single thought, by hundreds of industrialists and miners, through the amazingly Gallente combination of dark green Zydrine highlighted by a little bit of silverish Mexallon, to the marvellously murderous combination of Morphite alongside Nocxium, upon which only a single glance is enough to awaken within you the horrors of the most horrible of the Blood Raider rituals.

Next time, I'm studying a huge variety of holodiscs about various forms of the Art of Dancing, trying to find the most forgotten and oldest books about the subject. Learning the ancient figures, getting my body into the weirdest and most impossible of poses, performed daily by the forgotten nameless prodigies of the ballet of old, and working with a group of professional dancers to recreate old plays as accurately and most exquisitely as possible.

Or I can be stalking through the Cluster, building a collection of the most interesting and strange musical instruments. Learning to play on a ancient primitive instrument from the oldest of Minmatar Tribes, trying to get my hands on the holiest of Ammar ritual woodwinds, so I can relive the atmosphere of the oldest rituals, or enjoying a wide variety of the happy Gallente strings...

Or something entirely different. Reading through the Histories of nations, exploring the deepest wormholes, collecting animals living on a huge variety of systems, studying the EvE Gate with the Sisters, getting myself an outfit tailored from the rarest of materials, or simply attending as many balls and parties as I can.

Especially the last part, attending social events, is something I'll enjoy no matter the circumstances, and something I'll never get bored of. So if you are planning any kind of a party, I'd love to get on the guestlist. Blink

Regular farming or stereotypically-evil farming?

Oh, are you a professional in farming then, little gallentean lapdog?

Why yes, I am a professional farmer.

Of tears.

Especially yours, you utter failure of a Caracal pilot. Can't even alpha a Probe.

Excuse me for straightforward question, but... are you an idiot?
Why else would you put Caracal into range of alpha ships?...
Who let you touch capsule, tribal?

It could be your grammer confusing me, but did you just refer to a Probe as an alpha boat?

I think she's referring to a ship she can alpha with a Caracal..... That or somebody needs to study up those "Know your Enemy" flyers or whatever the Caldari Navy publishes for new combat pilots...

So much for pleasant..... We'll I think I might try to re-establish some semblance of positivity here......

Ms Vess, I think your tattoos are very pretty....even beautiful in some respects though they are a little inappropriate in some respects what with you having to expose your as much of your form as you do to show them off. However in saying that I understand you don't necessarily subscribe to the same ideals of propriety we do in the Empire.

Thank you!

With us our tattoos are more a badge of honor. Though the majority of mine were more cosmetic, ceremonial to myself only rather than having any real meaning in the eyes of my tribe or others in general. I haven't done that many note worthy things for the most part. The nano-tattoo on my face has meaning, but I was calm the last time my image data was taken so they didn't show up.

I have a very good idea of what such tattoos mean to other Siebestor..... however I simply cannot imagine the..... sense of 'exposure' that must require not withstanding that my betters within the Empire frown upon such tribal markings.

Forgive me if I don't have this right, but aren't you all made in your gods own image? Why would you feel exposed when you were made in the image of your creator? Obviously you shouldn't walk around naked but, are your shoulders really that distasteful in the eyes of others who were also made in your gods image? I hope that didn't come off in the wrong way...

An exploration frigate can somehow alpha a Caracal. You must be blinded by your own tears.

You have ramped up your amusement factor. First come the tears from failing to catch and one-shot an unarmed Probe-class exploration frigate after some grueling minutes of locking onto the Data Site. Next comes eating your own boots trying to salvage what non-existent dignity you still have left.

You deserve an award for this.

P/S: Fly an artillery boat next time, if you can stomach the elevated chance of catching tetanus.

Since the premier creator and distributor of the 'Know Your Enemy' series is no longer in business, I had taken to using fitting softwares and simulators to figure out what every ship is capable of and how to deal with them.

Then I test in live-fire sessions when I go marauding around.

Yeah. Mr. Azual Skoll had announced his retirement two years ago. It's unfortunate. His guide had helped me find my footing in lowsec when I started this whole privateering business.

He did, however, set an example for me. To figure out what the other ship is capable of. I had taken to doing so in order to assess my chances of success in an engagement, and how best to seize success. It is from his articles that I came up with the idea of knowing how a ship is usually flown to determine probability of success, modified by apparent experience of possible pilot., and once the supposed chance of success is estimated at least 50%, take the fight.

It would be stranger if you do not have any tattoos.

That's a shame! How else are our new pilots supposed to know that a Probe is a Matari frigate generally used for Exploration?

Right click the name on the D-scan and pull up the 'info' window, of course.

There was a sebiestor girl I knew back in college with no tattoos other then her voluval. Apparently getting the voluval freaked her out so badly that she never wanted to go near needles again. Her voluval wasn't bad or anything, just a needle phobia that developed afterwards I guess.

Anyway she didn't have any marks, not even naming marks. She cut a hole in her clothing so people could see her voluval and know she was an adult, and she painted on her marks for ceremonies, but yeah, no tattoos. No idea whatever happened to her, I think she was going into engineering.

It's still an unusual case.

(Fun fact: I am squeamish around needles)

No. No way in any version of the Amarrian hell would any Minmatar allow you to under take that ritual.

You are not Matari. Or Minmatar. Whatever. Bugger off and take whatever coming-of-age ritual a Sabik does.
