Beta New Eve Launcher problems

Hi its 4:31pm on 27-Oct-2015 in Sydney Australia and the new Beta launcher [which i really love btw] ...

uploaded a new updated and promptly deleted the eve laucher so i can not restart, it.

i deleted the installed and reinstalled if from here:

and after loading and restarting it promptly downloads the patch and deleted the eve launcher again...

any ideas ??

do not install the BETA launcher in a folder where somthing is already there, ike another launcher (old one from eve?)

each time the launcher install a new version it will wipe data in the folder where it is and it should reinstall itself there.


do you have any folder persmissions issue (what happens when you launch as admin. if it works it may be due to folder permission, lots post about this around)

i have tried wiping the data in the launcher folder but still have the same problem

so, to summarize :
clean install
wiped cache
admin right

and still the problem?

well you are f*cked up :D


more seriously, I don't see what can be done here, and you are not in the right forum, you need to post this issue to 2 place at once :
open your beta launcher and clic the 2 link on the right, bug and feedback
make the bug report as detailed as possible, copy that, and reply to the feedback thread, that's where a dev will see it

sometimes they come here, but there + bug is more sure

i am not sure if u read the original post of mine but the update DELETES the launcher totally so i am not able to start it to submit the bug report ...

omg, wrong post, wrong tab, someone else was having issue with his friends launcher... I spend too much time here

I already reported the "delete" behavior, it's not acceptable (imagine if you had install the launcher at the root of your drive)

but yours is strange, it deletes but does not update. report.
