Some suggestions for the new Force Auxiliary racial ship class names:


KHEIRON - Gallente

VALKYRIE - Minmatar

KANNON - Caldari

PANACEA - Amarr



All names are rooted in mythology established with previous development naming conventions.

In all honesty the name Force Auxiliary is bad, because it's hard to turn into a snappy acronym - we already have F.A. and no one wants to be associated with that

If you were to add an additional name to the class it would make it much more palatable, like C.R.V. "Capital Repair Vessel" or C.L.S. Capital Logistics Ship, or something of the like - what it should be, I honestly don't know and am not the one to say (though something like Pantheon for the class seems kinda cool).

Either way it would be cool for Force Auxiliaries to have a modified name so they become the first class in EVE that uses an acronym for their official name.

Caldari- Wrasse, some species of wrasse live in "cleaning stations" where they wait for sick and injured fish, they then clean parasites and dead flesh from their bodies, providing them food.

Amarr- Sheikh, an arabic honorific, translated as "Elder" or "Teacher"

Gallente: Apollo, regarded as a healer as well as the bringer an reliever of plagues in Greek mythos.

Chiron: A Centaur; Though he was immortal, it is said that he invented medicine in order to heal himself after being wounded by hercules

Achilles: Mainly because I would love to call "Your primary is the Achilles of D.A......" It was said he was taught by Chiron the ways of healing.


Minmatar: Idunn, also known as the "Redeemer" she is the goddess of youth and health, which she bestows on the gods with her apples of immortality kept in a wooden box.

I like this a lot more than taking the name of a drone like the OP suggested.





That's Amarr. Neither the Archon or the Aeon are finished.

Haven't thought about actual ship names, but I have a suggestion for the ship class name that I believe sounds better than Force Auxiliary: Capital Projection Ships (or just "Projection Ships").

We could call em Fauxi.

Amarr are routed in somewhat Christian faith, not Muslim faith. Furthermore, they are not elders or teachers, they are healers.

With regards to the initial naming suggestion for the Amarr FA: I do not want to sit in a Pancake. Thanks. Dragoon is already bad enough.

The Aeon is very much a finished ship. You just need to stop thinking in these limited capsuleer combat tactics and it will dawn to you how really capable fleet commanders use the Aeon.

Rapha amarr god of healing (christian)
Asclepius galente also god of healing (greco roman)
Ruamano caldari mythical creature with healing powers (maori and no caldari ships are not only birds)
Eir minmatar Goddess of healing (norse god)
