Stabber solo pvp tactics and fittings

I really liked using Navy Stabber for smashing through level 2 missions, and switched to Cynabal, wich is even better. Target, F1, next... Not for the ISK, for the standings.

Anyway, both of the above are way too expensive to be wasted in combat. My virtual wallet or real life wallet wouldn't be fat enough for that.

Stabbers are much cheaper and I have learned tactic called 'kiting' for missions. Very effective instead of orbiting.

As for now I am not getting into anything very serious pvp. Just to have some fun between trading and mission running.

So, guns at high slots, some kind of scrambler, propulsion mod perhaps, weapon upgrades, what else? I cannot use T2 modules, very low skillpoints. Soon all 5 drones.

What are my possible prey? Frigates, destroyers and other cruisers. Most likely I will lose the ship.

Thanks in advance. Oh, I have pyfa installed for fittings, so I could copy paste fits there.

Now I've flown the stabbed a bit, it's pretty fun to fly, but squishy. It helps to learn on frigates first, otherwise you'll be broke before you get good. It takes quite a while to learn. Frigates are good for learning pvp because they're cheap, disposable, and the class is pretty balanced.

If you really want to use the stabber, you'll need autocannons, point, MWD, probably large shield extender for tank, a few gyrostabs, and if you don't have enough cpu a nanofiber internal stabilizer always helps out kiters.

This is a signature.

It has a 25m signature.

No it's not a cosmic signature.

Probably.

Btw my corp's recruiting.

The rupture is a good pvp ship too, though not nearly as pretty as the stabber.

Dont fly the stabber, tis a bad ship. Buy a caracal or vexor instead.

That said, there are a few way to fly the stabber. Kiting with mwd + long point + 1/2 tracking enhancers and 2 gyrostabs and 0/1 dcu with ambit rigs. Or you can brawl such as shown in the video linked before. Many different fits for both variants exist, all arent very good.

Tbh while i would have agreed with you a few months ago, i kinda feel like the T3d meta is making the Stabber shine.
