So I decided to "retire" and park my ass in Solitude.. but there's no one here?

I desperately need new friends after spending months in Snuffed Out Roll

Joking BTW...Solitude is, in my experience, just empty space that rarely has anyone about.

Head north...Syndicate is far more fun.

Might do that for some pvp action.. Just remember Solitude as an active hs hub from when I first played the game many, many years ago Big smile

Solitude will always be my home, a place to return to when I am not able to be in Null. Not many people around.

Same here, no matter where I go in EvE, every few months I end up back there.

Part of the reason few live there is the only way in is either null-sec, wormhole (if lucky) or a long low-sec pipe.

Noticed a lot of players go there thinking it'd be a nice quiet spot out of the way - but leave after a month or two.
Why ? well the market isn't well stocked so you're always having logistical work to do getting stuff in or out. (even basic things like skillbooks require trips into the nearby low-sec or back to other high-sec, T2 ammo+ships are self build or get it hauled in too).

It's not that empty though, the relic sites are farmed out fast (a lot of explorers there) plus you do see mining corps that move there (every few months CODE. seem to pay them a visit too).

Plus point of it is with a base there you can easily make frequent trips into Syndicate, which is always worthwhile.

You expect a place called Solitude to be populated?



Regardless last time I ventured in that area, I was rather bored the locals were there were bat **** insane. There were people there buuut, they were crazy.


But the place is nice and quiet so you can pretty much do what. Until the crazy locals pop in randomly.


Needless to mention, I was to fond of the area.

Did I mention the locals are cray cray?

Solitude my first impression when I ventured in a venture looking for sites.... the local population is filled with pricks. No chit chat no trash talk in local. No action and no help to new bros.

Would I visit again sure only because they have special sites that can only be farmed in that area. Making any kind of friends there no viable.

Solitude is a region, not a server.

It was always a pretty active place too. If it's empty now, that is troubling news.

I thought the whole idea of getting out of NPC corps and joining these player-created clubs was to MAKE FRIENDS!
What happened? Is that all some MYTH pvp-ers are fomenting to force people into their so-called "playstyle"?
We must get to the bottom of this, post haste!! Were all your "friends" Snuffed OUT???
