Eve Hot Air Balloons

I was looking through custom made hot air balloons and noticed that there are some very interesting designs out there ranging from Yoda and Darth Vader Hot Air Balloons to cake balloons.

This got me to thinking. Why can't CCP have a company design a hot air balloon off of lets say the Hurricane of Venture in game model to then be used for advertisement purposes as well as giving fans a ride at Fan Fest shows? How awesome would it be to take a ride for a few hours in the Hurricane Hot Air Balloon Ride at the next Fan Fest?

Maybe even get Eve Online involved with airship racing where smaller ships such as Interceptors are custom made and then raced at Fan Fest events.

Ccp doesnt advertise eve.
Tneu only make ads show up on proples compiters that already have eve installed.
They havent advertised eve for years.

That would be a good thing for numerous reasons. The alien invasion comment.

I am certain that CCP would inform local air traffic control about launching their balloons. The FFA doesn't look to kindly on balloons traveling through commercial airline space without being told about it first.

Hot air balloon? Novelty at best imo. Now blow up models? Like the air shows often have might work better as give aways or grab bags for things like Fan fest or other player fests. Would even work in the eve store if it ever gets going again as the shipping would be negligible to say the least.

I'm sure CCP will jump on this idea as soon the check you send to finance it clears the bank!
(This would of course include the cost of training up a crew to fly the thing!)

"Hot air balloon"? Will that be powered by CCP explanations or player forum discussions?

Hot air balloons? I say use a Zeppelin using hydrogen gas as buoyancy. At least we'll get a nice explosion!

Lots of people don't even allow ads to load. Ads are obnoxious and a very nice malware delivery platform, and it only takes one good infestation before we say "no more."

This is your best idea so far Dryson. It is still stupid, but since it has nothing to do with the game definitely the best so far.

There's already Farrfylnurrfyl the pony you can ride at fanfest. The poor thing spends the rest of the year doing inter-office deliveries for CCP and being ridden by Hilmar on inspection tours, and you want to deny it the one time it feels a sense of giving purpose?
